The Google Calendar extension for Zoho BugTracker lets you create
events in Zoho BugTracker, and sync them with your Google Calendar. You
can now schedule, edit, or delete events in Google Calendar from Zoho
BugTracker. This extension also lets you set reminders to notify the
owners about upcoming events.
Installing the extension
The Google Calendar extension can be installed either from Zoho Marketplace or from your Zoho BugTracker account.
To install from Zoho BugTracker:
- Navigate to
> Marketplace > All. - Search for and tap on Google Calendar for Zoho BugTracker.
- Click Install.
- Agree to the terms of service, then click Install.
- Under the General section, select the profiles, projects, and users you want the extension to be shared with or given access to.

- Agree to the terms of use.
- Click Install Extension.
- Under the Connections section, click Authorize. Sign in with your Google account credentials.

Accessing the extension
To access the extension from the top band:
- Click the Extensions icon (
) on the top band. - Click on the Google Calendar widget in the right panel.
- Click Select a Calendar to choose among your Google calendars from within Zoho BugTracker. You can set your default calendar here.

- The Events tab lists all the events associated with the chosen calendar. You can choose to show events for Today, Week, Month or Year.

Creating an event
- Click the + icon adjacent to the Events tab. The Create Event page will open.
- Enter Title, Date, Time, Location, and Attendee details. Title and Date are mandatory.

- Choose Yes or No for Event Reminder. If you select Yes, pick the notification timing from the slots.
- Add the Link and Description, then click Save.
View, Edit, or Delete events
- Click the Events tab.
- All the events associated with the account will be listed.
- Hover over the event. Icons to edit and delete will pop up.

- Click the (
) icon to edit an event. - Upon clicking the icon, you will be redirected to Google Calendar where you can edit your event.
- Click the (
) icon to delete an event.
- A confirmation window will pop up before deleting.
- Click Delete.
To access the extension from the Issues tab:
- Open the desired project and task.
- Click Google Calendar in the activities tab.
- All the calendars associated with the Google account will be displayed.
- You can set your default calendar here.
- The events associated with the chosen calendar will be shown.
- Use the Add Event button in the top-right corner to add new events.
Note: Only the events associated with the particular task from the chosen calendar will be displayed.
Creating an event
- Choose a calendar from the left panel of the widget page.
- Click the Add Event button in the top-right corner.
- Enter Title, Date, Time, Location, and Attendee details.
- Title and Date are mandatory.
- Choose Yes or No for Event Reminder.
- If you select Yes, pick the notification timing from the slots.
- Add the Description, then click Save.
Edit or delete events
- Hover over the event. Icons to edit and delete will pop up.
- Click the (
) icon to edit an event. You will be redirected to Google Calendar to edit your event. - Click the (
) icon to delete an event.
- A confirmation window will pop up before deleting.
- Click Delete.

Note: Any changes made to events will be updated in Google Calendar.
Uninstalling the extension
To uninstall the Google Calendar extension:
- Navigate to
> Marketplace > All. - Click Installed.
- Click Google Calendar for Zoho BugTracker.
- Click Uninstall.
