Zoho Contracts for Zoho CRM
The Zoho Contracts extension for Zoho CRM lets you work on contracts and contract templates from within Zoho CRM. It helps contract administrators, legal users, and other customers streamline the process of creating and maintaining contracts. Users can draft contracts using the templates available and reconcile any terms that may need to be changed based on their business process. Any data from Zoho CRM fields can also be auto-populated to the contracts.
Business Scenario
Zylker, a software company, manages a large number of client deals and service agreements as part of their daily operations. While Zoho CRM helps them track leads, opportunities, and customer interactions, handling contracts separately was time-consuming, required significant manual effort.This often led to delays, version mismatches, and missed updates.
To streamline this process, Zylker enabled the integration between Zoho CRM and Zoho Contracts. With this integration, the sales team can seamlessly request contracts directly from Zoho CRM. Customer details, deal value, product information, and any custom fields maintained in CRM are automatically mapped into Zoho Contracts, where a contract document is generated based on pre-approved templates.
Sales teams can easily track a contract’s status and request the contract owner to send it for negotiation, or initiate amendment, renewal, or extension requests directly from Zoho CRM without switching applications. Once the contract is signed, the signed document is automatically added to the corresponding CRM record.
This integration helps Zylker eliminate manual data entry, reduce dependency on the legal team for every contract request, provides a centralized place for tracking contract progress, and shortens the overall time required to prepare and finalize contracts. As a result, Zylker’s sales team can request contracts, track their statuses, and collaborate on them more effectively, all while maintaining compliance and visibility across both systems.
