How to manage fields in my form?

Zoho Forms offers a variety of form fields, grouped under Basic Fields and Advanced Fields, to meet your business needs.

After you add the required fields to your form using our simple drag and drop interface, let's explore how you can manage them. 
  1. You can re-arrange the fields as needed at any point with the drag and drop functionality. Simply drag a field to the new position and drop it.

            
  1. You can choose to show or hide certain form fields from your respondents based on their answers with Field Rules. This way, you can let your respondents view only the fields relevant to them while they fill out your form.

  2. Specify field instructions under the Properties of a Field to explain the kind of responses you're looking for.

  3. You can customize field labels using the Rich Text option under Properties, to make your forms more interactive and match the rest of your brand tone.

  1. Mark the required fields as mandatory for the respondents to answer. Your respondents will be prompted to enter a value in the mandatory fields if they skip the fields and try to submit their responses.

  1. Don't want your respondents to be able to edit the field? Use the Disable Field option.
  2. Mark fields collecting sensitive information from respondents as Personal or encrypt the fields. Learn more

  1. Have choice based fields in your order form? You can assign values to the choices and use the values to perform calculations and collect payments using the obtained value.
