What is Attendance Service in Zoho People?
Attendance Service in Zoho People aims to simplify the attendance management of your employees. It involves enabling and configuring attendance tracking methods, defining your organizational attendance policies, and tracking employee check-in, check-out, and everything in between.
How is the Attendance Service useful, and who is it intended for?
- All Employees (general usage)
Raise attendance regularization, permission, on duty requests. Track attendance including overtime, on duty, and hourly permissions. View shift details and view teammates' attendance status.
- Managers
All the actions that the above role can perform in addition to handling the various regularization, permission, on duty requests of reportees. Raise requests on behalf of reportees. View and assign shifts for reportees.
- Administrators
All the actions that the above two roles can perform and also set up attendance methods, policies, breaks, specific policies, check-in and check-out related preferences, and more (using their access to settings and operations).
Selected employees can be given administrative access to Attendance Service settings or data.
