What is Attendance Service Settings?

Attendance service settings are primarily about facilitating the management of employee attendance tracking in your organization. It involves enabling and setting up preferences for attendance tracking methods, your organization's attendance policies, and setting up preferences for check-in, check-out, and everything in between.

To access Attendance service settings, go to Settings (gear icon on the top-right corner) > View All > Attendance (Visible only to Super Administrator and roles with Administrative Access).



Once inside, use the tabs on the left listed under the main Configuration tab to manage all cruical aspects of the Attendance Service. This includes enabling methods, configuring attendance policy of your organization and more.



Additional tabs include:
Extend Service: This tab features adding and editing custom forms, custom buttons. These features are for extending the default capabilities of the Attendance Service to match the requirements of different organizations. 
Approvals: Setup an approval flow for processes inititated from the Attendance service.
Automation: Manage absent scheduler, present by default, created automated processes (workflows), custom notifications such as email alerts, set up templates and more.
Permissions: Add service administrators, setup IP and geo restrictions, and permissions related to records, fields and more.
