What is the Leave | Time Off Service in Zoho People?
Managing leave (time off) is an important part of any HR software, and Zoho People Leave Service enables effortless management of employee leave, right from setting up leave policies to applying and tracking employee leave. Leave policies created can be tailor-tuned with customized leave entitlements, applicability, restrictions, and more.
How is the Leave Service useful, and who is it intended for?
- All Employees (general usage):
Applying for leave, viewing leave balance, raising regularization requests, raising compensatory-off requests, viewing holidays, viewing shift details, and more.
- Managers:
All the actions that the above role can perform in addition to handling the various employee leave, compensatory-off, and regularization requests. Check reportees leave status, and authorize leave grant requests. View and assign shifts for reportees.
- Administrators:
All the actions that the above two roles can perform and also set up leave policies, customize policies specifically for individual employees. Set up work calendar, pay period, Bradford score, compensatory off, and more. (using their access to settings and operations).
Selected employees can be given administrative access to Leave Service settings or data.
