Collecting data via live video interviews/sessions
Zoho ResearchStudio allows you to conduct live audio or video sessions with participants from within ResearchStudio and use the recorded session for further analysis. You can take notes during the session to add more details to the responses provided by the participants.
Steps to commence a new session
- Click Projects in the left pane and choose your desired project.
- Click Studies under Study Data in the top-left corner.
- Click + Start New Session in the top-right corner.
- In the Create a new session dialog that opens, enter the title of your session and enter their participants' emails and click Create. You can share the joining link with the participants or send an invite mail to join the session.
- Once you initiate a session, click Start Recording in the right pane to record the session. You can take notes during the session by clicking the Note icon in the right pane.
- After you end a session, the session's recording along with the notes taken during the session will be automatically available in the Study Data tab for further analysis.
- You can transcribe the recorded session in your desired language. To transcribe, open the recorded file from Study Data and click Generate transcript and choose your desired language from the list of languages. Click here for the list of supported transcription languages.
