Zoho ResearchStudio allows you to import your research data as audio or video files. After you've uploaded an audio or video file, ResearchStudio automatically generates a transcript of the file's content with annotated time stamps. You can edit the transcript in line, add notes to the transcript, or regenerate the transcript in your desired language.

Supported file formats:
Video: mp4, mov, mpeg, and avi
Audio: mp3, wav, and m4a
Steps to upload audio and video files
- Click Study Data in the left pane
- Click Add Study Data in the top-right corner
- Click Upload User Interview (Audio) or Upload User Interview (Video) from the list of options displayed.
- In the dialog box that is displayed, navigate and choose your desired file from your desktop and upload it.
- Once the file is uploaded successfully, the file's transcript will be automatically generated. You can access the generated transcript by opening the uploaded audio or video file.
- Note: By default, the transcript will be generated in English. You can regenerate the transcript in your desired language. Click here for the list of supported transcription languages.
- To cleanse the transcript text, click the Edit button next to the text.
- To add notes to the transcript, click the desired timestamp you wish to add notes to and click Add Notes.
- To regenerate the transcript in a different language, click Regenerate transcript and choose your desired language in the generate transcript dialog that is displayed. Click here for the list of supported transcription languages.

Note: You can download the generated transcript as an .srt file by clicking the Download icon besides the Start Analysis button.
