How to read the lead time trend report?

1. X-axis denotes the end dates of the items by week.
   
2. Y-axis denotes the sum of lead time of the items that were completed in a particular week.
   
3. Each item type is represented as an individual line.
   
4. Each item type line plots the lead time based on the items completed for a particular week.

Example

Let's assume your organization develops apps for the healthcare vertical. You need to build solutions for a variety of users that rely on healthcare. You can see all your work items on your board and track their progress. These items could be user stories, bugs, or tasks. You need to assess your team's performance on those items based on their progress and completion.

Your lead time trend report helps you monitor the weekly lead time trend based on the time that each work item type spends on the board until completion. That is, you can understand which type of item takes the most time and also figure out the average duration taken to complete items in a particular week.

1. You can get the lead time trend for a preferred date range.
   
2. You can observe the trend of the duration taken for completion for each item type.
   

Report table

Access lead time trend report

1. Go to the kanban project.
   
2. Select the Reports module.
   
3. Select Lead Time Trend report type.
   
4. Specify a date range to generate the report.
   
5. Click the Get button. The report for the specified period will be generated.
   
6. Hover over the plotted points to view details.
   
7. Click the plotted points or scroll down to navigate to the detailed table for the report.

You can export the reports in PDF and PNG formats for external use.

You can schedule exports to automate periodic export of the reports. Navigate to the Export History to access the exported files.
