Introducing Profile Summary: Faster Candidate Insights with Zia


We’re excited to launch Profile Summary, a powerful new feature in Zoho Recruit that transforms how you review candidate profiles. What used to take minutes of resume scanning can now be assessed in seconds—thanks to Zia.

A Quick Example  

Say you’re hiring a developer and receive 200+ applications. Instead of opening each profile, your Candidate List view now shows a clear summary like this:


In just a glance, you know whether to move Christina forward. Multiply this across hundreds of candidates, and the time savings speak for themselves.

What is Profile Summary?  

Profile Summary gives you a snapshot of each candidate’s most important details. Instead of clicking into profiles, you’ll see the essentials directly alongside their name.

When a resume is uploaded, Zia automatically generates the summary in two formats:


  • Bulleted (default): A point-by-point list that’s easy to scan.

  • Descriptive: A short narrative overview with added context.

Think of it as your personal cheat sheet surfacing exactly what you need, without extra clicks.

Why We Built It  

Recruiters told us: “I spend more time clicking into profiles than actually evaluating candidates.”

That's a problem.

Getting Started  

Go to Setup > Zia > Profile Summary. This is where you can activate the Profile Summary and set your preferred format.
