Modifying product search in invoice field

Modifying product search in invoice field

Hello,

I imported my product list in Books. Since I have many products with the same name, but with different order units, and that Books doesn't permit same names in items, I used ID's number has product name, and put the product name in the description. But when I want to create an invoice, in the item field I want to search by the description. How can we modify the invoice setup to do that ?

Also, has that change no same product names in Books?
