using name merge tags
Hi, I want to know how to add the name filed tag to personalise the email. I had used the name merge tag and send a test email but the merge tag $[FNAME]$ showed after Dear ($[FNAME]$) instead of the customer name. Also I want to add the date of joining for each customer to the email, are their any tags for it or how do i do that? Thanks for the help. Regards, Shrikant
HTML Editor strips out code
When I copy in HTML code, using EDIT HTML, it seems to work fine. However, when I click save & close, I get a message saying that a) an image is missing (/images/transparent.gif) which is not referenced anywhere in my code, and b) all the <head> and quite a lot of <body> tags have been removed, so it doesn't display anything really. Noticed it does the same thing in CRM.
Can the Subscription Confirmation email be customised?
The email one gets to confirm after subscribing is rather ugly - to say the least. The line spacing is all over the place, the button font is different, the colours insipid. Can we please either:- 1) Clean up that email, or better still... 2) Give us the means to customise it?
My List Is Empty
I'm trying to send my first newsletter. I've created my list but, when I try to add this list to the newsletter, I have a message saying it's empty. I need to send this out today. What can I do? PLEASE HELP!
Cannot see other users email campaigns in my user account
We have two separate users for Zoho campaigns. When I log in to send an email I cannot see the other users email campaigns on my user account and nor can he see mine. I also cannot add my email address in the sender details to his and nor his to mine as it says it's a duplicate I have changed the privaleges to full access and cannot add me as a user to the other user account as it is saying it's a duplicatation. Can we set a cookie so subscribers don't have to register multiple times?
We use subscriptions/registrations to control access to some content on our site. Is there some way that we can set a cookie so if an already-registered subscriber clicks on a subscription button (appropriately labeled so as to indicate it it the gateway to the controlled content), that they bypass the registration process?
Zoho Campaigns - Autoresponder Anniversary Email
We want to send out recurring anniversary/membership renewal emails to all customers. We plan to use a date based autoresponder for this and send out the email 30 days prior to the anniversary. My question is will the customer still receive the email on the second, third, fourth, and so on anniversaries? If not, is there a way to do this? Thanks.

Hi, I am new to CRM software and want to know if Zoho can do the following. I would like to organise a drip marketing campaign that will include email, direct printed mail and follow up calls. Without to much detail I want to send an email to all leads every month then send a direct mail piece to all leads every quarter (spread out equally over the quarter to manage work load) and then a follow up call to each customer a week after they receive the direct mail piece. Can I send click data to Zoho through the API?
I want to track all clicks on a link that will be in an email campaign as well as posted on various web pages. Any user who clicks on the link will be required to register with Zoho if he is not already registered (we are using cookies on the web page) before being sent the the landing page. I would like to track all clicks on that link in Zoho. My deveoper is thinking that she could write the click information to Zoho through the API but she can't find a call to store the link and associated user

Is there a way to customize the confirmation email people receive after signing up for a list? And is there a way to customize the web page people see when they click the confirmation link in the confirmation email? If there is, let me know how. Campaigns Preview does not display columns
I've created a template using a header image, columns, and a footer image. The columns are set at 70:30. The first two times I previewed the template, the preview displayed the columns properly. In subsequent previews, the column formatting is not displayed. The left-hand column (70%) displays across the entire width, with the right hand column displayed beneath it. The columns structure appears properly in edit mode. I've created a second template with the same structure and I'm getting the same
Zoho Support Unavailable - Unacceptable!
Called 2 days in a row for Zoho Campaigns support and both days they were unavailable after 1:30pm MST. Day #1 they were able receive voicemail messages (still unacceptable customer service) now today Day #2 calling for support their voice mailbox is FULL and cannot receive any messages. Zoho... get with it. You guys need to start raising the bar on the quality of this your business and products.
Cancel half sent Chain Campaign
Hi, I've created a chain campaign but realized I made a mistake on the email subject. I've paused the sending of the campaign and want to edit the subject line before resuming sending. I can't find a way to do this. If I clone the chain campaign, it creates an entirely new campaign but then I have the problem of not being able to send to the unopened list from the initial campaign. Any help on how to either edit the chain campaign or stop and delete it and create a new one? Thanks!

Under Settings>Sign Up Form Themes>Edit Theme>Notification Mails Customization>Subscription Confirmation; we can edit the email texts there. The text fields however, do not appear to accept any hyperlinks nor do they accept paragraph returns for formatting purposes. Is there a way to add formatting and hyperlinks?

We can see completed registrations but I want to know how much fall out we are seeing from clicking on the Sign Up button to the submitted registrations and optins. Is there a way to see all this information from Zoho Campaigns?

Web link from Theme not appearing at bottom of text-only email.
I have a hyperlink at the bottom of my footer theme that appears fine in the HTML email, but not at the bottom of the text email. Also, a hyperlink I have in the body of my email appears fine in the HTML version, but not in the text version. That's a much bigger problem!
Theme not updating campaign.
There is a big problem with themes. Try this:- Create a campaign. Select the Zoho theme and send a test. Create a new theme, remove the header and turn off the centering. Save it. Go back to campaign, select new theme, save and send a test. Same Zoho theme (or default if you set one).

Adding contacts to a list...

If I send a campaign, I usually end up with a number of unopened emails, for which I can send a Chain campaign. Themes - problems with default theme selected.
I have created my own theme that removes the "Can't read or see images?..." header and left-justifies my emails so they DON'T go down the centre of the page. I have discovered the following:- If I create a new campaign from scratch, my theme works fine. If I clone a campaign, it reverts to the default Zoho theme - BUG! Segment Criteria Problem
Hi, I'm segmenting a mailing list geographically to create to segments 'North' and 'South'. I have successfully created the segment 'North by selecting 'ISN'T' across 3 criteria 'Account Name' fields (i.e. isn't John, isn't Ajay, isn't Omar). But when I try to create 'South' by selecting 'IS' across the same 3 criteria fields there appear to be no contacts. I've additionally tried 'contains' but the system can't find any contacts. Can you advise?

Sync does not appear to be working
Created a segment with criteria on custom field "Source contains Genesis" I have 56 contacts but in ZOHO CRM there are 238 contacts. The 238 contacts have been available for several week but the syc is not bringing them across. The only criteria on the sync is that account name is not empty. Any ideas? Sam

We are using both Zoho Campaigns and Zoho CRM to manager our marketing and sales. A key part of the strategy is to send emails daily to segments of the CRM. Leads and Contacts are identified from work we are doing on the CRM. Each day we move people into appropriate auto-responders and mailing lists based on their activity in the sales cycle. The sync settings allow for daily sync's of the data ... but the sync limit only allows 15 sync's a month - so two weeks into the month our marketing efforts
Deleting bounced contacts
Hi All, Can anyone tell me how to find and delete bounced contacts from a sent campaign? I can see them in my report but how do I get rid of them from CRM? I know there is a "campaign status" somewhere that gives you the status, i.e bounced etc, but I cannot find it.. Also, is there any way to automatically removed bounced contacts?
