Announcing new features in Trident for macOS (v.1.9.0)
Hello everyone!
Trident for macOS (v.1.9.0) is here with new features and enhancements to elevate your workplace communication. Let's take a quick look at them.
View shared folders.
Shared folders boost teamwork by providing centralized access to emails, enhancing efficiency, organization, and seamless collaboration across the team.
With this update, you can now view all of the folders that your teammates have shared with you. Depending on your access level, you can either view the emails in the shared folder or reply to them on behalf of the owner.
Search within conversations.
In addition to the module-level Cliq search, you can now search for messages, files, and more right from the chatbox. This makes it easy to quickly find information during a conversation.
Comment on Desk Smart Mails.
Smart Mails offer instant access to the live data view of the respective Zoho applications and allow you to take data-centric actions. In Desk Smart Mails, you could previously only view the ticket information. Now, you can add public and private comments right from your inbox.
Use iOS devices to take pictures or scan documents on Trident.
To leverage this feature, make sure you're signed in to the same Apple ID on both your Mac and iOS device, and that Bluetooth and WiFi are enabled on both devices. The devices should be running iOS 12 or later (on iPhone) and macOS Mojave or later (on Mac).
Search with ease.
We've introduced filters in the Contacts module to help you easily find people and connect with them.
You can now search using keywords to quickly find the desired app Settings.
Other enhancements.
In this update, we've made some enhancements to other existing features to improve your experience using Trident. Here's a quick overview:
- Attachment comments can now be viewed inside the document viewer.
- The chatbox editor has been enhanced with a new user interface.
To leverage these new features in Trident, update the app to the latest version by following the steps below:
- Open Trident.
- In the system menu bar, click Trident.
- Select Check for Updates from the menu list.
