Communicate, collaborate, and drive projects to success with the Zoho Cliq - Zoho Projects integration

Context switching between apps is a problem you shouldn't have to deal with. Let's say you find a new project issue or want to add a task in Zoho Projects. You should be able to do both of these tasks right from where you're already collaborating. Thanks to Zoho Cliq's new integration with Zoho Projects, you can now manage your project issues, tasks, and milestones from right inside your chat window.



Steps to install the extension


The Zoho Projects for Zoho Cliq integration is available for installation in Zoho Cliq Marketplace. 

  1. Go to marketplace.zoho.com/cliq
  2. From the app listing, select Zoho Projects for Zoho Cliq
  3. Once you land on the Overview page, click on the Install button
  4. Click Continue in the consent pop-up and click on the Install option to proceed. 
  5. Here, choose if you'd like to install the extension for the entire organization or only for your team. (This option will be visible only if you're an admin of the organization. In case of non-admins, you can install the extension only for your team.) 
  6. Upon installing the extension, you will be subscribed to the @Projects Bot by default. You can then set up and configure the bot as per your preference! 
Now that you've installed your extension successfully, dive in and discover what it holds for you and your teams!

The @Projects Bot is packed with features including bringing real-time updates of issues and tasks assigned to you, quick access to your current issue or task list, project insights, and more.

Upon installing the integration, use the Configure menu action to connect the bot to a Portal and Project of your choice and receive real-time project updates.

Access your task list and view information about each task in detail including status, due date, priority level, and comments. You can also mark a task closed right from Cliq.

Track your performance with detailed reports on tasks and issues you've worked on. 



  • Automated alerts

Associate a channel in Cliq with a project of your choice to receive alerts and weekly project statistics from @Projects Bot. The bot notifies you of any unassigned project issue directly in the channel and adds an option to Claim the issue as well. The issue's status can then be tracked right within the channel.

Take action and follow up on important messages in any conversation by adding them as a task or issue, assigning users, and setting deadlines.
