Currency limitation when integrating Zoho CRM & Zoho Books

Background

·       Our business is based in Australia and we have to have Zoho Books in AUD to comply with tax and reporting regulations in Australia.

·       We sell all products in USD with most clients residing in the USA and some clients outside the USA.

·       For clients outside the USA we need to track financial information in their account in their local currency to allow us to calculate our client invoices. i.e. GBP 

·       In order to integrate Zoho CRM with Zoho Books had to configure Zoho CRM in same base currency AUD as Zoho Books.

o   This results in all currency fields in CRM displaying in AUD.

Requirement

·       We need to be able to select currency for individual fields in CRM rather than apply 1 currency to all fields across multiple modules contacts, accounts, deals and invoice modules. I.e. for a client we will need a field Deposit USD (currency field in USD) and another field  Baseline GP GBP (currency field in GBP)

  1. We need these fields to be displayed in the current we require not in AUD

·       We sell our products in USD so we need some currency fields to display in USD for all clients

·       We also have clients in different countries and we need to display some currency fields to display in clients local currency for some contacts i.e. GBP

·       I noticed in each module you can apply a currency per record but not for individual fields, i.e. in Deal you can apply a currency for all currency fields in that deal
