Tip #9: Modify deal properties in Zoho CRM using form responses

How to modify deal properties of Zoho CRM records using form responses?

Deal properties in Zoho CRM records are constantly modified based on the status of the deal. You can automatically modify deal properties (like the deal closing date, or deal name) and even update the deal stage, using form inputs. This can drastically reduce the work your team would otherwise do to search and change individual record details manually.

How it works
This works by integrating the form with the Deals module of Zoho CRM. When the form consists of deal information is entered or edited, the corresponding changes are made to the specific deals record in your account.

How to configure
You may want to create a new deal or update a new deal using the form entries. In the CRM integration setup, you need to choose the module as the Deals and choose the layout based on your requirements. Map the form fields to the fields in the Deals module, whose values you need to update.

For example, the Deal Status can be captured using dropdowns or radio buttons. Remember to make sure the option values match the exact Deal Names in Zoho CRM. On form submission, the changes are automatically processed into the respective CRM record.

This can be a great time-saver—but that's not all! For more discussion on the different workflows in Zoho Forms that can help you work more efficiently with Zoho CRM, check out our upcoming series.
