Tip #20: Build a better relationship with your external stakeholders

Collaboration is key to the success of any business, especially when your company depends on external stakeholders. For today's tip, we'll teach you how to work with your external stakeholders more effectively.
 
With WorkDrive's external sharing feature, you can work with partners, vendors, and other third-party service providers without restrictions, while maintaining complete control over your shared files and folders.
 
Securely share files with anyone
 
WorkDrive lets you create multiple external share links for a particular file or folder. You can share these links with anyone outside your organization, and they can access the files without creating a WorkDrive account.




 
 
You can password protect your external links and set an expiration date (after which the shared file and folder will be inaccessible). You can also restrict collaborators from downloading files, or request user information, like name, email address, and phone number from anyone trying to access the link.





Note: Team Admins can mandate all users to set passwords when creating external share links. They can also set a strong password policy, making the links more secure. Learn more about mandatory password settings
 
Work on projects in real time
 
While creating a share link, you can decide whether others can access files only, or upload their work as well. With WorkDrive’s built-in office apps, you can collaborate in real time, discuss ideas, and review changes to your documents, spreadsheets, and presentations with your external stakeholders.
