What's New—October 2023

We're always working to improve the Backstage experience for you. This time, we've rolled out some updates to make your event planning a little easier.
 
Here's everything that's happened the past few months in a nutshell.
 
  • You can now edit submitted form responses.
  • Use advanced search filters to find specific responses submitted in a particular form.
  • When a limit is set for form responses, microsite visitors can conveniently submit their answers without having to sign in. Setting a response limit will automatically make the Email Address field in the form mandatory, and this information will be used to track response counts per individual.
  • To ensure compliance with data collection and privacy regulations, the Purpose of collection option can be added to forms on the microsite. This option serves to either obtain consent from or provide informative text to visitors interacting with these forms regarding the specific purpose of the data being collected.
  • Feedback received for sessions can be exported. The Feedback field, by default, isn't mandatory now, but you can change this setting when setting up the Session feedback form whenever required.
  • When importing attendees for paid events, the ticket price can be entered for each attendee in the spreadsheet you're importing. If these tickets require a cancellation or refund, you can manage these tickets in Backstage by marking them as Canceled and refunded and processing the refund offline.
  • Facilitate badge downloads through email. Add a button in any scheduled email so email recipients can simply click it to obtain their badges.
  • Push notifications will be sent to meeting participants when using the mobile app—5 minutes before the meeting starts and when either participant joins the meeting.
  • To reduce response times for inquiries directed to our support team, we now provide an option to screen record, which is powered by Quartz. You can access this feature through the Help icon located at the bottom-left corner in Backstage.
