What's new in Zoho Cliq - August 2020 updates

Hi all,

To help you in the process of enhancing your experience in Cliq we're here again with new updates for the month of August! 
 
Here's what's new in Cliq Web: 

Edit comments for attachments

While sending a new attachment now you can add emojis and @mentions in the comments section.
Also, just like you edit normal messages in your chat, you can edit comments added with an attachment and add emojis, mention users and even perform group mentions (@all, @available) if its a channel or group conversation.
 
Get to notify the intended user with the help of @mentions and be more expressive using emoji's.


 

Check-in reminders in Remote Work are here

Are you someone who forgets to check-in to work when you're busy as a beaver?
 
Your worries are our concern! If you're active in Cliq and has not checked-in for the day, then Cliq's check-in reminder pop up will make sure that you do so.
 
So no more worries about forgetting to check-in or check-in late.



Scheduling calendar events made easier

Now you get to schedule a calendar meeting more precisely as per your needs using the segregated event details option.
 
  • Face-to-Face Meeting option allows you to schedule in-person meeting with users in a specified venue/location.
  • Online Meeting option allows you to schedule virtual audio/video meetings with users.
  • Assign to option now comes with 2 categories, like:
            1) Participants - Under this option, you get to choose specific users by mentioning their names or mail id.
            2) Conversation - Under this option, you can search and select a specific chat from the drop-down. 


 

Introducing Galaxy view in Cliq's group call

Enrich your UI experience in Cliq's group call's with the all new Galaxy view. 
 
Under the Galaxy view, all participants will be arranged in a ring format based on their participation in the call. The active speaker will be displayed in the center and will be highlighted. 

(Note: AU & CN users will get the Galaxy view soon)
 


 

Cliq Android App Update

Multi-account - Configure more than one account in Zoho Cliq

From now you can configure multiple accounts in Cliq and switch between them with ease.  

For instance, let's consider your managing three Zoho accounts in Cliq. With Multi-accounts option you can manage all the three handles with ease. It allows you to switch between accounts easily, similar to that of Gmail.
