Remote Work - Set up your office workspace with Cliq
We delved into the challenges attached with remote working and came up with a swift solution that integrates your office space with Cliq. Zoho Cliq's Remote work view comes with

View unread and mark chats as read using simple shortcuts
View only the unread chats in your conversations list and mark all the unread chats as read with ease using a short cut option. In Cliq's left side pane, click on the ellipsis menu option right next to your Conversations. By doing so, you will be displayed with 'View unread chats' and 'Mark all as read' options.
Guest chat in Cliq
Strike a conversation and collaborate with an external user outside your Cliq's organisation using the new Guest chat feature of Cliq. Now you will be able to invite external users for a 1-1 conversation or group chats, without the need of them having to sign up with Cliq.
Let's consider a scenario, where you need to collaborate with a designer who is not a part of your organization for a specific campaign. You can directly invite the designer as a guest using the Invite Guests option. Once when you're done working on the campaign with the designer you can manage them as guest by locking/ removing them as a guest user. You can configure and control the actions of the guest user under Manage Guests option.
Reply privately to messages in group conversations
Reply privately option allows you to reply to any member of the group chat in a private conversation, without leaving the group chat window.
Let's consider a scenario where a customer executive posts a requirement from a customer in the support channel. You can use the "reply privately" option to get more insight on this requirement. Hover over the message and click on the Actions menu and click on the Reply Privately option. By doing so, you will be directed to an individual chat window with the specific user who sent the message.
Invoke 'Reply Privately' option right from your group chat window with just a click.
Mentions view (@) is updated with a filter now!
The mentions view in Cliq comes with a filter 'Hide @all, @available mentions' which highlights your mentions and hides all the others. You can also clear all the mentions using 'Mark all as read' option.
Consider a scenario where you have been off from work for the past two days and currently in need to immediately address the messages that was mentioned to you in particular. You can straight away land on your mentions avoiding the cluster of all mentions using 'Hide @all, @available mentions' option.
Invoke chat options with just a right click
By right-clicking on any of the chat or channel conversations in the left sidebar, you can see options like Pin Conversation/Channel, Mute Conversation/Channel and Channel Info.
For instance, if you're in immediate need of looking at the permission setting of a specific channel you can do so with just a right click. Right click on the specific channel and select Channel Info option to view the basic channel details, recent conversations, permissions and other infos.
You can also pin/mute any specific conversation or channel with just a right-click.
Pin important messages in a chat
Never miss out an important message or tire yourself by scrolling endlessly searching for an important message in a chat. Hover over a message and click on the Actions menu and choose 'Pin message' from the options. It will pin the specific message in the chat window enabling participants to view the pinned message.
Let's consider a scenario where you have created a channel to discuss about your project updates and DRI's. You can simply pin that message using the Pin message option, which will pin the specific message in the chat window and display it to all the participants. So this way you can ensure that your message has been conveyed and is not missed by any of the participants.
Admin panel enhancements
1) View all channels associated with a team
The 'Channels tab' under the team preview page allows you to view all the team channels created under a specific team. Click on Teams on the admin panel, search for a particular team and open the team's preview page. There you will find an updated tab called 'Channels', clicking on which will help you find all the channels created under a specific team.
There are different teams under a department and number of channels under them. You can pull out the list of channels under a specific team effortlessly using the Channels tab. For instance, if you want help with a list of channels under the Sales team you can get hold of that list using the Channels tab in a matter of minutes.
2) Configure Zoho Cliq - People Integration
If you're using Zoho people as your HRMS, now you can configure the integration of your Zoho People account with Cliq right from your Cliq's admin panel.
To do so: Go to your Admin panel > Integrations > Zoho People > You can enable or disable the integration from here.
For instance, if you want to pull out profile information of an employee, you can do so directly from your Cliq's chat window using /people command.
The Zoho People integration enables you to access specific information and keep a track of employees from within your Cliq window.
