Notable Mobile Updates

• Zoho Desk iOS Mobile Application Can Now Access the Knowledge Base
  • This was already available on Android.
  • Agents are now able to access the KB articles while composing an email or from within the details view of the ticket.
• Bigin Mobile Application Adds Products
  • I didn’t know there was a Bigin Mobile application. (Makes sense though).  And it now can manage your products as well.  

Implementation of the Week

• CRM custom function leveraging SmartyStreet.com’s API for address validation
  • Addresses can be sent as a single field, or individual fields for street, city, state, etc.
  • CRM automation using Deluge uses a webhook to hit SmartyStreet’s endpoint with the address of a given record.
  • SmartyStreet will validate that the address is valid, and if the address was sent in one block of text, it will parse the address into individual fields.

• RiteTag (Chrome Extension)
  
• RiteTag  ($49 a year, with a free 7-day trial) shows you how hashtags are performing on Twitter and Facebook before you post content. It checks your blog post and tells you what hashtags will be the most effective and color codes them. If your hashtag is:
• Green, the hashtag will help your content be seen now.
• Blue, the hashtag will help your content be seen over time.
• Gray, it has low levels of engagement.
• Red, it is too popular and your content will disappear into the crowd.
