Zoho CRM Live chat cant chat on Contact record?

We just implemented Live chat in Zoho and I was shocked to find out that you cannot have a Live chat on the actual Contact record in Realtime. We used Salesforce Live agent for the last 7 years and I took it for granted that Live chats come in on the actual Contact record so you can easily see the customers sales history or if there is a current customer service case or open Opportunity. (Seems pretty intuitive But not in Zoho CRM. You have to open the Contact record in a separate Tab and then bounce back and forth between the 2 tabs during the chat.(Seems counter intuitive). Apparently you can do this in Zoho Desk, however we don't use Desk...we use Zoho CRM. Am I the ONLY person that has raised this disappointment?
