In this we have a subform which has a look up field which records which supplier we have usedand the value of their quotation. We have another form which for Suppliers. Insert a report on a form / Record Summary
I have a form to input information on the company vehicles, maintenance and mileage and such. it keeps a log of the records and presents them in a 'record summary' view. \ i have a separate form for tool and item inventory, which can be assigned to trucks through a look-up field that allows you to select the truck number. i would like to have the items for the selected truck in the truck report 'view record' to show the items assigned to that truck. i though about putting the tool and item form in
how to create a form from script
I am new to Zoho Creator, I think the concept is cool, but the GUI is a bit clumsy and slow, and there are quite a few bugs. After spending couple of frustrating hours trying to create forms I will try to resort to scripting: When manually creating a form in creator there is an option to save as script. Hey, I wanted to ask you and perhaps receive a few pointers on automating adding information to a database. Let's say I have a database that I input a main date. There are many date fields that I would like zoho to automatically fill based on this date. For example, the main date I fill is start of event. I would like to know how to make zoho automatically input date in other field, for example purchase a flight, which I want to always appear 2 weeks before the main date. Any ideas how I could do
Trying to customize image width in a list report
Hi there - I'm trying to create a customized list view of the records we have uploaded into one of our forms. Each record contains an image of varying width and height. I want to list view to force a width on the images so that it appears uniform when someone is accessing it. I can't seem to figure out how to do this, are you able to help? I've found ways to force a width AND a height to the images, however this causes a problem because it distorts the image and squishes or stretches it. Thanks!
Tracking historical data / trends with Pivot charts

Import data and populate source and url fields for an image?
I have an image field (set to link) in our db. Rather than adding records individually, we want to compile records throughout the day into an Excel file then use the import command. But, is there a way we can configure the data in the Excel file to automatically fill in the "source" and "url" fields in the image field? It has me stumped.
Recycling database
I have a need to create an online database of recycling partners. Each partner needs to be flagged with the recyclable items that they can accept. There are 12 top-level categories such as Paper, Plastic, Metal, etc. and each one has a bunch of subcategories for a total of about 400 or so. Migrating from Google to Office 365
Dear Zoho Team, We are migrating from our Google Apps platform to Microsoft O365, however we are currently relying on Zoho Creator and Zoho CRM for our support and sales departments. Before I migrate all of our accounts from Google to O365, how do I ensure that none of my Zoho services are impacted? Publish settings are not saving
I've created a form and have published it. But the settings on the right hand side, background colour, headers, field sizes, etc are very flaky trying to save them. Every now and then it works, but most times it doesn't save any of the changes. Any chance someone at Zoho can look at this please? Thanks

When I enter some details with it on my website, nobody is notified, I need to go to the 'Contact Manager' tab of my Site to see what was entered. ZC user management bug
Hi all, I noticed my email address: lexshan@walkintour.com is associated with multiple ZC accounts. one is: lexshan1, the other is lexshan5 Here is what happened: i created an ZC app on lexshan1, then i added another user (bayarea.bo@walkintour.com) as Administrator while keeping my account as Admin. Then when byareay.bo logs into the app, lexshan1 lost access right away, although Settings->Users & Permissions still show lexshan1 as admin. When I login normally with the email and password, I get
Sorting .count() by something other than ID
Hi Guys, Hope you can help as I’ve spent hours on this and still have no solution. I have a picklist in Form A that brings in a number of separate records based on Form B depending upon their particular status. These records are then selected in the Form A picklist and when submitted they are given a reference number from 1 to however many records are selected which populates a field back in Form B. I am trying to get a part of a field using substring function. But when execute the function, zoho returns an error. Deluge script code view line length limit?
Dear Zoho Creator Team, I was coding a sendmail for deletion of a record in our new module. However, I ran in to a line length limit issue. Question: #1. Is there a way to force a new line in the deluge code. ( I'm not referring to "\n" or "<br>" ) I'm talking about forcing a new line in the code editor? E-Mail data not working
Hi, I try to send email data to my form. I copied the template data and send it from a registered email account as plain text. I get no corfirmation or error. Also in the logs there is no entry. Seding the same from a not authorized account will give me an error mail back and also an entry in the email log. What can be wrong? Regards, Marco

I need to create a form that, 1. Does not allow a list of numbers to be entered. ('Does not equal' query is not possible since list is very long). 2. Gives a warning message whenever such number (existing in spreadsheet) is filled in a field. 3. Fails submission of form containing such number (existing in spreadsheet). I already have and account and I've applied for the developer certification program. When I try and sign up for the developer version of creator, i get an error that I already have an account. How can I upgrade to the developer version?
File upload problems with IE10
Within the last 14 days we have started receiving calls from users who say that they can't upload files anymore in Zoho Creator. It gets to the "Please Wait" message and then just hangs. On checking, we have found that each and every person having this problem is using IE10. They're from different companies, with different network setups, but all have the same browser and version. Interestingly, if they use Firefox or Chrome it works. Anyone else finding this, and if so any bright ideas for a work
Can you set up a form to send payments?
Hi, I know it's possible to set up a form to receive payments by going into settings and enabling payments. I also noticed you can have the amount, item, and quantity fields dictated by fields within the form. However, is it possible to have the "Paypal email id" field dictated by a field as well? I want to create a form to be able to send payments to customers rather than receiving them, and to be able to change the paypal email id through the form rather than having to go through the settings for
Two Field Layout option for Desktop and Mobile. I.E. 2 column layout
For example, If you make an app that has a two column layout used with a PC/MAC and the left column field is relative to right column field. I.E. The Contact and the Event Date and Time. If you view this form in the mobile app version the right column fields are placed below the complete left column data fields. So, the form doesn't make as much sense on the mobile app. Granted If I move this to a one column layout it would fix the issue for mobile but would make this a scrolling nightmare on PC/MAC.

I'm new to Zoho. Loving the platform, especially Deluge scripting and HTML. I'm trying to collect responses to a long list of questions from my users, like a survey. The questions (400) come from a table. The answers are all yes/no. The plan is to present the questions in categories. A user will click on a category and see the question from that category. This part seems easy to do using an HTML page. My problem is that I can't find an easy way for users to see checkbox or radio button controls in-line

All i want to do is have a form where people fill out, name, age and email address, after that it takes them to pay via paypal and i am notified of payment with their linked information so that i know who has payed and what email address is linked to that payment so that i can then send through the requested info. or even better, is it possible for people to gain access to a page on my site only once they have paid and they can continue to have access for say 24 hours but then thats it? i assume

How do I add days to a date?
Not sure where to ask this, but I want to add days to a date. So, for example, the users puts in a target date when they want the item to arrive. Now, depending on a few different things, the actual ship date may be a few days different. What I did was create a target date input field and a ship date formula field. In the formula field I tried to do target_date = ship_date + 5d What am I missing here? Thanks

Automate time calculations
I have in many of my forms time fields that calculate the difference between currenttime and a set time: ( ((ETB - zoho.currenttime) / (1000 * 60 * 60)).round(1) ) This works fine when updating and editing the record. However I often work in a report overview, and I need to find a way to re-trigger the calculations for all the records in order to get updated time difference on regular intervals i.e. every 2 hrs, I have however not been able to figure out a way to do so yet. Any ideas?

Zoho generated email are not received by client anymore
Hi, I started this topic yesterday but somehow I do not see it anymore so I post this again. Recently our client stop receiving notification email sent from our Zoho application although we receive it (we cc ourself in the email). According to our client they did not make any changes to their mail server. Anyone have the same issue? We suspect that somehow the email from Zoho has been blocked. So could anyone tell me what is Zoho mail server IP Address is so that we can remove the block?
Pass search criteria from stateless form to report.
I'm using a stateless form with a lookup from customer input form. I created a new report Log_Reports with information from the Customer_Name input form/report. Using this deluge script I am trying to pass the dat variable which contains the name selected from a lookup in my stateless form and pass it to my report to include all the customer logs selected.
