Change font color when a field has a value
Hello. I am using Creator to maintain an editorial calendar. We'd like to be able to see at a glance when a report has been published by making the text color change if the "published" field has a value in it. How would I script that? Would I use "on user input" or "on update", and what variables would I include? I am not a programmer so I greatly appreciate your help.

Deleted subform data persists in database
When I add data to the subform embedded in my main form (A), I can see the data reflected in the view associated with that subform. I just noticed that when I delete a row of my subform in form A, the data still appears in the view. Because I am using the subform data to populate another form (B), this results in erroneous data being propagated to another form. This is troubling to me - when I delete data from a main form, it is gone. Why then does subform data persist after deletion?
How to create a list of missing submissions
I have a app that i made to capture time for our employees. I have an employee list that I am working with, so there is an established base list of employees. What i need to do is create a function (or a button in a stateless form) that will allow me to generate a list of employee who have not yet submitted their timesheet, based on a date field (Week_of). Window closes unexpectedly with file upload
Hi, One of my users has reported an issue where she was editing the A012 record from the view at https://creator.zoho.com/essistmgmt/assets/#View:AGREEMENT_View She tried to upload a file to UPLOAD CUSTOMER AGREEMENT and then tried to change the file. She received an error message and the window closed unexpected. I was not able to reproduce the error as I tried creating test agreements and attempted to upload files. There is no mention of that error in the error log Can you please investigate?
how to get a report based a simple form's user input
How to: I am building an inventory database. I'd like to present the user with a simple Form to input an "inventory location". Once to user submits the location, the user is presented with a Report view displaying the inventory for the location. As with the standard reports the user could then edit, view, delete.... How do I find the string length of a multiline text field?
I want to limit the max characters in a multliline string and strangely there isn't a standard option. SO how do I do it in code? I tried if(input.mytextfield.length>500) but I just get an error.

Aggregating subform data
Hi, I'm presently trying to aggregate (sum) data from and store this in the main form as the data is updated in a subform. Similar to a running total in an order when order lines are added or volumes changed. I understand the events to trigger the activity but haven't been able to get it to work accurately. I've tried the 'aggregate' function but can't get it to work with the data in the 'live' form. I've tried simply adding the row value to the total value in the main form but this only succeeds

I need to know if I can set up a form in Creator that collects certain information from one individual, then have a second form generated that would contain the info from the first form and have additional fields to collect more info from another individual. Hello, I´m trying to maka a database in wich I store the status of a record. The status may be "Aproved", "Disaproved", "Retry". I need this status to be changed without entering the EDIT mode. So I´ve created a Function and asigned to a button, but I only get the status to change to nothing instead of the desired state. Formula problem "variable not declared"
I have a field that calculates feet of garden row based on number of plants and spacing of them. I can't seem to get the following formula to work: ( no_of_plants * plant_spacing / no_of_plants_wide ) / 12 I keep getting an error that the variable is not declared. Tried deleting field and re-adding then recreating the formula, no luck. Also tried rearranging the the fields in the formula. Keeps saying that the first field name in the formula isn't declared. Cannot share application
I attempted to share my application by clicking Share and adding an email address. After I click Invite, the window remains open and the message on the bottom still says "This application has been shared to none" I tried to manually share the application by clicking the Manage Users link, adding the user and checking the application. Unable to delete application
I want to delete an application but it seems that I am unable to do so. I want to delete the "test app" application that I created on 10 September 2013. New app builder
Another bug. When using the script builder in the new app builder, for some reason using the list function 'tolong()' is not being recognized. I switch to the old builder and it works fine.

Combining Sub Form data with Main Form data
I am new to ZOHO creator and have a fairly simple requirement for collecting online Data. I collect the data from a form I have created which has a sub form to collect peoples names and details. On completion of data entry I need it to email the details entered. My form does this fine but the data from the subform does not come across, all I get is the subform "record ID" I think. Below is the date auto emailed. the bit in red is from the subform and doesn't give the names or details submitted.

Field Placement
I have a two column form. I have dragged the fields to the desired positions on the form. When I view the form the fields have moved all by themselves. They change positions. They change columns. I end up with the First Name and Last Name fields nowhere near each other. I've moved them multiple times. They keep moving back. What's going on? What am I missing? --DJ

All fields do not show up on the screen in the Chrome browser when using new Creator Builder interface
Chrome browser does not appear to be compatible with the new builder in Zoho Creator. The screen ends on the icon File Upload field. There is no way to access icons below File Upload. No such problems existed in the old builder, which was a better product on many levels. I support opinions expressed by other Creators users that the best decision Zoho could make is to scrap the new builder and return to the drawing board.
