"Spreadsheet Mode" for Fast Bulk Edits

One of the challenges with using Zoho Inventory is when bulk edits need to be done via the UI, and each value that needs to be changed is different.

A very common use case here is price changes. Often, a price increase will need to be implemented, and the new prices aren't all the same, nor are they algorithmically related (e.g., not every price is exactly 10% higher than previous).

There are likely dozens of other use cases, as well. The one I'm running into at the moment is setting min/max quantities for each of 100+ Composite Items.

The only logical way to do this at the moment is to open each Composite Item individually, edit the fields, save, and move onto the next. This is tedious and time consuming.

What would make this type of bulk updating far easier for users would be if there were a "spreadsheet mode" for the View of items and other entities that allowed for editing of the individual cells on the view, similar to how a Spreadsheet Report works in Zoho Creator.

I know the knee-jerk reaction of Zoho is to suggest workarounds, so I'll briefly address those here.

Export --> Edit in Spreadsheet --> Import: While this theoretically works, there is a pretty good risk of permanently corrupting live data if done incorrectly. I'm a pretty solid user of Zoho products, and I don't think it's worth the risk to do this myself. I couldn't ever recommend this to a non-power user.

Bulk Edit Button: This works okay if all of the values to be changed are the same. However, that is not the use cases I'm addressing here. Also, not all fields are exposed to the bulk edits button, so this isn't always an option.
