New features released: Data from Picture for Web, Pattern Fill, and Translation in Zoho Sheet!

Hello Sheet users,

In 2024, the Zoho Sheet team focused on research and development to bring new features that add to functionalities like productivity, data management, collaboration, and more. This year, we're all set to roll them out incrementally for easier adaptation. Here's the first set of productivity-enhancing features available to all our users.

Data from Picture for Web

Now you can upload and extract data directly from images on the web just like in Sheet's Android and iOS mobile apps. With the Data from Picture feature, simply upload an image with tabular data, and the system will automatically recognize and generate a preview of the data captured, which can be edited and finally converted into a spreadsheet.

Pattern Fill

Pattern Fill is a tool that fills in the desired data automatically in your cells based on the data present in the adjacent cells.

You can select a specific set of data and the AI will analyze it to look for patterns. Once it has identified a pattern, it will automatically fill in the corresponding cells with the appropriate data from its source. You just have to simply start a pattern in any one of the cells, and the AI will take care of the rest.  

Whether you're separating or combining names, generating email addresses, reformatting dates and numbers, or fixing data entry errors, Pattern Fill learns your intentions and streamlines your work.

Translation

Collaborating globally is smoother than ever before. With our new Translation feature in Zoho Sheet, you can seamlessly translate content across 74 different languages in a few simple steps. All you need to do is select the cells with data, then the desired language, and finally, where to place the translated data.
