Page boarders using permalink
Is their any code that can be added to the permalink to set margins. I'm working on a form that will be accessed through smartphone 99% of the time and it looks like the left/top margin is around 6 - 8 px. Not only is screen space important it also leaves the form looking of center as the right margin is about half that of the left.
Form security breach
I created a form SITE_ADDRESS and have not shared it yet. I have a SITE form that lets users pick a SITE_ADDRESS with an option to add a new site address if it does not exist. However, users are able to add new site addresses even though I have not shared the SITE_ADDRESS form yet. Why is the form not being restricted? How come users can see the "Add new site address" link even if they do not have privileges. I am hoping to restrict the form to a specific group but it appears anyone who can access

Hi, I had created some html views with embedded forms and views. They worked fine until i used the old app builder.Now they are not shown when i am using the new app builder. I think it might be bcoz of the new app builder or bcoz of some update or fix. Please update about it this issue. Abhishek
View attachment in subform
Hi, I have encountered a problem when using Subform. I created a Subform that allow user to attach any number of file attachment. For example, if the user want to attach only 1 file, he just need to add 1 row and attach the file; if he want to attach 3 files, he need to add 3 rows etc.. Now the problem is: after the user attached the files in the subform and submit successfully. Scripting "On user input" for Subforms and a Bug
My subform contains a dropdown field. I want a textbox in the subform's same row to display a value depending on what the user selects in the dropdown. Clearly the "on add row" is not where to put this code. So I selected "configure filed actions" from the form builder: And it loads a page that is totally not editable. If I hit the "free-flow scripting" button, nothing happens. Code Editor downgrade?
Is it possible to downgrade the latest upgrade in the Code Editor via some user preference? All of this gradient, fading, animation, ghost text is very difficult to work with. I like the color coding and the line numbers. But I think Zoho went way too far with the eye candy animation. Tony.

Code Suggestion to Get Date for Previous Thursday
Greetings all... Any quick code suggestions for calculating the correct date for the previous Thursday from a certain date.... Ex: The date given is Tuesday, August 20, 2013. Modify radio button field names
I have a DB with 1000 entries. I just tried to modify one of the selectable field names. There was a radio button list of say Apple Banana Grape That I modified to 1 - Apple 2 - Banana 3 - Grape Now the fruit column in my table is blank. Is that data gone, or listed incorrectly or what. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I think I am in trouble.

Hi Zoho, I am facing an error on my application on Zoho creator. The user fills in all of his/her data and clicks on 'submit'. Once that happens this error message pops up 'Error occurred please contact application owner'. However, the data has been trapped in the database. The user doesn't know this and tries to re-enter the data, causing multiple entries. Can you please help? I can give you access to the application if required. Naveen

Creating many-to-one relationships using subforms without duplicating records

Hi, I'd like to create an e-mail that is sent whenever a variable called WCExp reaches 10 and then again when it is at 1. I have a form with a lookup field using the new builder. What is the script to clear the value in the lookup? Setting the field to null gives a script error- expression type does not match: type required:long Setting the field to 0 gives a runtime error.

Google authenticate not working on Ipad
Here is the situation: This is a Zoho Creator with Google apps setup I have a Zoho Creator form that is embedded on a Google site. The form has an upload file field that can upload a file from Google Drive to the ZC database. This works just fine on the MacBook Air On the Ipad however the Google Authentication periodically just hangs. ....are there any solutions to this? I have been unable to get any useful answer from Zoho support.

"returns a number in the range (1-7), representing the number of the day of the year,that date falls. The number "1" represents Sunday, "2" represents Monday and so on." REST Api downloads a file

Can't get my field to show or hide based on user input.
Hi. I have a field called 'In Foreclosure?' When a user selects 'Yes' from the dropdown menu, I'd like the 'Docket No.' field to show. If any other selection is chosen ('No' or 'Unknown' are the remaining choices), then I'd like to hide the 'Docket No.' field. Even after it shows as a result of me selecting 'Yes' (let's say I change my mind). I'm hiding the 'Docket No.' field when the form loads. Changing imported field type
I have a POSTCODE_SUBURB form that has a POSTCODE field as a number. I will now be adding UK postcodes that are in a alphanumeric format so I want to change the field to string type. The POSTCODE field is referenced in many other forms and scripts. I cannot easily recreate the relationships/script logic/etc. The import fields that reference the POST_CODE field are also used in other script logic. Need some advice on forms layout
I am new here to ZoHo and I already have my database/form setup but the problem is I have a ton a fields on the form and I am trying to figure out how I can make sections collapse/expand - I haven't been able to find it, not sure if it exists. If not is there a way I can have the user added additional fields as needed for add more content? I have it split up in two columns but that's not enough. Default image in form
I need to set a default image (QR code) in a form so that it is displayed in a report and when exported to a spreadsheet. The QR code will always be the same as it will direct third parties to another Zoho form (permalink) once scanned on a phone to fill in. Is this possible? It would seem actually adding the image detail could be achieved through a notes field but notes unless I'm mistaken are only for reference on a form and can't be used in report.
