URGENT - Error adding request in Zoho HelpDesk!!!
Hi, I have downloaded “Zoho HelpDesk” from the Marketplace and have been customising it, but when I try to add a Request, I receive an error message "Reference Field 'Requester' not having the value '...' " Previously, I have tried to solve this by doing the following, but it didn’t solve the problem: 1) On the “Requester Home” tab, I clicked on “Edit this application”. Next, from the “More Actions” dropdown, I clicked “Script – Actions on Load”. I then clicked “On Load” just over “Add_Request”

Help needed regarding sorting of data
Hello, I Have a question using zoho creator. I wanted the top 1st record of the data in a view. How can i do this, i tried all the ways given in the forums like assigning "new" to the just updated value and putting "old" to previous value, or creating auto increment number and trying to sort on that number, but couldnot be of much help. Mode mentioning in HTML-Document title, perhaps?!
I had the idea that it would maybe be a big favour, when we're working with Zoho creator windows in a tabbed environment, to have the Mode writene as a Prefix to the HTML-document title. Because: I am constantly seeking the right browser-window/-tab when i am in "Edit-Mode" in the one window/-tab, and in "Access-Mode" in the other. When there would be an "EDIT:" and "ACCESS" in front of the Title, i could better seperate the diff. states of the great zoho creator interface. just my 2 cents, René

Form action based on link used to visit it
Hi! I 've created a form that can populate itself based on the first field (let' say email) that you fill-in, validating against another's form data. So, if you visit this form and fill-in your email, my application searches on another form's data and if it finds this particular email, it automatically fills-in most of the remaining fields. However, since I can send personalized e-mails, I want to urge specific people to fill in my form through a personal link. Date format
DD-MM-YYYY is understandable for a date format. But why does the Donor Management app have dd-MMM-yyy as the format. Why the three M as in MMM?
Donor Management - volunteers
I really will like this Donor Management app, after we get it to the point where it is usable. In "Add a New Volunteer", it asks for first last name, company, Email "ID", then for some weird reason it asks for the volunteers "Web Page". Well that's harmless enough, I suppose, but there is no space to put the postal mailing address of the volunteer. Very important to have this.
Missing Address fields in Donor Management
There is Company Name Country ZIP/Postal Code But there is no street address field? We certainly would like to have that, otherwise, the database can't be used.

Provide credentials to access image
I put my application from public to private, and the service i was using to resize images can no longer access my images. That is logical, however, i would still like to resize my images. So in terms of that, is there a way to provide credentials to zoho so that the external service that resizes the images can access them? If not, is there a way that a certain field can be public, while others are private?
Various issues
1. In trying to Add New Campaign, it asks for "Owner", but NO indication of how to add and owner. And, it won't let me add money without Campaign, but can't add campaign without owner. 2. PLEASE allow hyphens in telephone numbers. We HAVE to have this in the USA, and it helps to reduce errors. We can't deal with numbers all squished together. 3. "Contact Me" is not working for me
Hello, I'm trying to embed the code I made for a "contact me" page into my webpage. I'm using Dreamweaver cs3. I tried to embed this code into the <body> section of the code but it doesn't show up. It only shows up as a shaded box when I put my cursor over the code, and I can't see it at all in preview mode in firefox. API Record Collection Speeds
Anyone that has used the ZC API.... What have your collection speeds been like? I mean how long does it take for you to get the information you need from Zoho? I just ran a form call that had about 70 records and it took about 30 sec. Is that normal? Seems a bit slow. ZC Team, Could you please summarize API Collection speeds, HTML Collection speeds, and build in view collection speeds? It seems odd that a build in view would have a faster load time then an xml file :) Please expound. -Stephen

While my application has worked perfectly fine during the past few days, I am now getting the following error on form submission: Error details: Error occured while executing on success script. unknown Task : Task personality is 280 Error on table nullI have not changed the application and the only thing the on success script does is open an outside url based on form input. The outside url is fully functional and I get the error submitting form information that has previously worked.
Embed a form into HTML view with pre-filled parameters?
I'm building an HTML view that allows users to select an Account, then shows a list of current projects assigned to that Account, as well as a form that lets them request a new project. Ideally I'd like to pre-fill the New Project form with the specified account (passed into the html view as input.account), but can't figure out whether or not it's possible. I know about functionality-based URLs but appending &Account=input.account doesn't make any difference to the form. Is this possible and if

view dropdown in editor
Often times I have many views with similar names in the editor's view drop down. It would be tremendous if you colored different types of views so perhaps... list views: blue chart views: red html views: and so on... I find myself accessing the app just to find the page I want to edit then going back into the editor. Hello, I've build an application where users can add change requests to a list of requests. Whenever a new request is added it mails to me. Next for me to do is update the request form specifying release date and other information. z-index HTML views and ZC Menu
Anyone else had problems with transparent menus when using a ZC dropdown menu in and HTML view? I also have z-index issues when trying to use the ZC menu on an HTML page... The menu drops down, I go to select, the correct view/form and the menu falls away after hitting the line of my first div in my HTML. Passing Parameters to Charts
So when I was new to Zoho Creator I would create multiple Charts for virtually the same chart with just a few minor changes like, office name, criteria, etc. I become increasingly annoyed with having a ton of charts to manage until I realized, "Hey if I can pass parameters to list views, forms, and calendars through my URL or my viewLinkName's in my embedded forms & views why can't I do that with charts? Form Submission and the Dredaed Never Ending Spinning Arrow
I have launched a private application to collect contact information. While many people have not had any issues submitting the forms and adding data, there are instances where forms seemingly do not submit (with a Never Ending Spinning Arrow), although the data was added.
