Zoho Creator home errors with an error message
I cannot access Zoho Creator at all. No UI is given, just error message. To Reproduce: 1. Follow the steps outlined in my previous bug report: http://forums.zoho.com/viewtopic.php?t=amp;p=185703#185703 2. Close the new user's account 3. Recreate the new user's account using exact username and all details, _except_ the e-mail address is now using the original intended e-mail addresses 4. Confirm the e-mail address of the new user 5. In the new user, go to Zoho Creator and you get an error message.
Can't Edit Lookup Field Dropdown Selection
I have an application with three tables: one table has two Lookup fields which reference the other two tables. When I create a new record, the two Lookup field dropdown lists have two and eight items, respectively, mirroring the number of records in the two other tables. If I attempt to then edit the new record, the two Lookup dropdowns are populated only with the item numbers originally used for creating the record, not with the entire list of possible selections. All other fields are editable.
[URGENT] [BUG] Error when sharing application using secondar
Description: Shared Zoho Creator application not detected when using second e-mail. How to reproduce: 1. Create a Creator app. 2. Share it with someone who doesn't already have a Zoho Account. 3. The new user creates a Zoho account NOT with the e-mail they was supposed to. 4. New user adds a secondary e-mail. 5. Both e-mails confirmed by the user. 6. Go to "Shared to me" apps, the user sees nothing shared, although I already share it. hendy

Hello, is it possible to change the colors/etc on my form? I have one shared (http://www.coachdinos.com/privateleadform) but the colors don't fit my website. I wonder if this will be allowed at some point? Also, another thing I'm wondering is this: will I be able to pay a small monthly fee and get rid of the "I se Zoho Creator" with the heart advertisment? Linking Applications
Hi, I have created one application that tracks the medicines and its dosages and manufacturers. I have also created another application for patients names and the frequency of their medication. However, I wanted to know IF it is possible that the medicine field gets its source from the previous application's medicines field? Any help in this regard would be great!
Still having trouble with Column Headers
The column headers on new database views I create still show the Add, Delete, Bulk Edit, and Duplicate options. I can't seem to figure out how to turn them off. I don't want people editing my database. Am I missing something? It seems to work okay on a previous form. Thanks Dan Baumann chiefexperts
All data in database lost
I have, or had, a database with a few hundred rows which is now inexplicably empty. Is this a common problem? Is there any way to restore the data? Maybe roll it back to a time just before creator decided to dump everything? leoleoleo
Summary View
I like the way "Summary View" looks, as it often is much easier to read. I am annoyed however that there is no way for users to edit data in Summary View. This would be a rather simple addition, as the feature already exists in other places, and would be very helpful. Other than that, Zoho Creator basically is awesome. Cmafai
Column Size
We have a kind of "notes" section that we use in our database. Sometimes these notes get rather long and take up a lot of room in a list view which is the view that works for us. Is there any way that it can be set so that the list view is limited to x amount of characters? If not, can this be an added feature? brenthilg

Add Multiple Forms To One Layout "Page"
I have several single field forms that feed information to "Lookup" fields in a large form. I would like to place all these forms on one page in the "Layout." This would be a great feature. Please include it.
Field update
I have a drop down field called "Player Name". When I click on a player from the list, it brings up all the player data including the a drop down box called "Prepaid Sessions". When a player attends a session, I want to be able to change the number of sessions on this form by picking the new number from the drop down list and having it update the record of that Player. embedded view color reverts to Zoho colors
Hi - just created a view page on my website using embedding tool. I changed the colors of the view to my liking using Zoho. The color shows up fine .... until I sort a column. Then it reverts back to Zoho's original blue color. When will this be fixed? Thank you
Omitting Add, Delete, etc links from public forms
It appears that I can't omit the links at the top of a public form. I don't want my clients to have the ability to edit the forms that they are viewing. It was working fine on a previous form and now it does not seem to work. Thank you for Zoho Creator. It is an excellent service. I have a form that I want to keep private and views that I want to create they need to be private or public. How do I create a public view in this situation? For example, I have looked at creating a private application. I see that I can create an embedded form that is public and does not required login. "Please Wait" box never goes away!!
Hi, when opening a certain form ("Sign Out Resources") the "Please Wait" box appears and won't disappear. - This happens in both Firefox and IE. - It is the only form that has this problem. - It NEVER works, even at irregular times (so it's not a server traffic issue). - The views work normally, only the form is broken. - It will still add data but it's very difficult when the box is in the way. i liked zoho creator so much and am been using it to create my database via XLS import feature... the only thing i found out, it can import successfully if the XLS fields are in columns, i.e. name address phone number but, it cant restructure import if the fields of data are single column vertical, i.e. name address phone number name address phone number if this can be added, this will be awesome, as i have tons of import with this kind of style. also, if zoho creator forms can display images of
can't edit any records
Just created an app with a view. Went to edit record in the view and the record could not be edited. What am I missing? Also, an import field would allow me to select the import item, but it too, would not "stay edited". Thank you

Pre-Populate field does not work with picklist?

creator admin email address change
I am using the send email tools on successful submission of a Creator Form. I established my account when I worked for one institution but have subsequently changed institutions. The email confirmation of success submission comes from my original email address. I modified my primary email address in the MyAccount tools to make my primary email address be the one for the new institution. I completed the whole process including confirmation. Still the message appears to come from the former account.

Can't get hidden field to show in views.
I've been trying to search through the forum to see if this has already been answered, but haven't so far. Here's the problem: I have staff that are initially hidden from the user until they enter in the department, and once they choose the dept. the staff in that area show up. Easy. Ok, now I want to display the entry in a View showing just the selected staff that was based on the department. I don't want to show the staff from other departments. Using Drop down Value in a formula
I am not sure if this question was already here, but i did not figure out how to solve my problem. i want to use some values from a drop down list (1,2,3,4,5) in a formula where they will be multipied with a number f.e. 24. the problem is that i get always an error message because the value from the drop down is a string... how can i switch the type of the drop down value or something similar? Using group edits / null fields
Gentlemen, I’m having the following problems. 1. Group edit does not work. I select multiple records, click Bulk Edit, select a field and enter a value to be assigned for all records, click Apply and confirm OK. I get an error that says “Enter a value for Group name.” I did not select the field Group name to edit. The field Group name is a required field and already exists in all records. So this error does not make sense. I get this error regardless of which records I edit and which field(s) I enter

Is there any way to hide data from users? I saw that you can put your app in tabs and move the View into its own tab then hide that tab, but. It is kind of a pain to have to go in and unhide a tab to view the data. If you do add the view into a hidden tab is that data secured from any user?
