This is getting frustrating.... I Access the db, I go to Edit a record, but there used to be, I think, and 'Update' button or 'Save' now theres nothing so I can't save my edits. This is very buggy s/w. admin
Need help on scripting
Folks, I could use some assistance with some script i am trying to develop. I have a form set-up with several different input boxes / data entry fields. On of the fields is titled "Phase" for the sake of this example the other field is titled "Area". The gist of what I am trying to do is as follows. Going to edit from calendar view
I created some views from which the list view is default. When I switched to calendar view and tried to go to edit, the browser gave error message. Similarly, I created a view with 'summary view' as default, and here even trying to go to edit from summary view caused error. I am not able to delete these views also. -Arghya arghya

creator data still not showing
Now my zoho creator survey is finally visible since the recent "maintenance window" ... however, all of the previously entered data is missing ... and I can seem to add any new data. bulk edit error

filtering and sorting does not work anymore
Hello, My filtering and sorting options do not work anymore In the tab database field i can sort but in the other tabs like start I cannot. This is so for all my databases and is a big problem This app is at the center of our jobs so this really is a problem I have however not touched at anything in the code for two weeks. How can I get current time in the uk, as this appears to be 8 hours behind GMT. I would also like to reduce the line spacing between fields in the app view - is this possible? Great otherwise and something I will be using. Thanks s.garner

Multiline boxes
It appears that a multiline box is fixed at 6 lines. Is there a way to make it smaller? Six lines is a waste of web page space for an address field where 4 is usually enough. The size becomes critical when embedding in a web page, where you very quickly run out of space! avma
Phone field
The phone number field allows only 8 digits. This is insufficient to allow area codes which are usually at least 3 digits. It also does not allow standard input for international numbers such as: +27123542287, not only is the number too long, but also the + would probably be rejected as a non-numeric value. Until you reconsider your restrictive phone number field I am forced to use a text filed for phone numbers. avma

sort and spreadsheet views not working
It is my understanding that you can sort on any column in the list view by clicking on the field name at the top. A little arrow appears there but clicking on it does nothing. Also in list view, the drop down selections for spreadsheet view etc. do not seem to be working anymore. JF

Showing Columns in View
Two issues with showing columns in View. 1.I'm in Edit, View Configuration page, using Column Properties. I remove the check from a column and the column correctly does not appear in the View. I open Column Properties again, re-check the empty box and press Done. The column does not re-appear. Opening Column Properties again shows the box is not checked! 2. spreadsheet and bulk edit have stopped working in my applica
for the last 10 days or so, whenever I attempt to edit data in my spreadsheet views or perform a bulk edit, I get the message "you do not have permission to edit in this view." I've double-checked that the view has add/edit/delete/bulk edit/duplicate permissions checked, and also that the view is shared to all of my users. They are all experiencing the same problem. Image Size Restriction?
I defined an image field in Creator and entered the URL of a 9KB thumbnail of the actual image. The View showed this image. I then edited the record and changed to the URL of the fullsized 219KB image. The view shows this larger image, but I cannot edit the record. Clicking on the pencil icon I briefly get the "Please Wait" message and then... nothing. Is there a limit on the size of images shown in Image fields?

Hi, I think you guys have done a amazing work, creating this website. I am going to review this website on my Blog digital-musings.com and although I don't get much traffic, I have a good network in other blogs who will definitely use your services. Just one suggestion. When we go to shared applications, It says "No one has shared applications with you" Its kind of trivial but, It feels like no one cares to share stuff with you. lookup field choices don't update

Creator- Is there a way to view the records in the form one
I don't seem to be able to find a way to view just one record in the form view. It would be nice if I could see the entire record on one scree/view and then hit a button that said next to view the next record. I would also like to be able to edit the record in this view. thanks Kelly
Display Submitted Form Results
Hello, After someone submits a form I would like to immediately display the data that they just submitted so they can print out, etc. I don't want to display all records in the database, just their particular submission. Please help, thank you.

Change Width of Column in View?
Hello, As I design a View, is it possible to change the width of the columns? Right now they seem to be the same width but some have many fewer characters than others (like just the date) and it would nice to be able to control the width - right now you have to do a lot of left-right scrolling to edit a record. Also, I hope the ability to change the order in which the columns appear returns - it seems to be broken but that was a nice feature. Thank you!
Library Database
I am trying to create a database for an elementary school library. I have downloaded the Library Manager, and while it is quite nice it is more complex than I need. There are two things I am trying to do that I can't figure out. I would like to have a form where I could input an ID number assigned to a book that is in the database and have it populate the fields for the author and title for that book. I am also having a problem with a formula field. I have field called "CheckOut" that is a date field.
Pre-populating form options through a URL
I would like to be able to pre-populate some of the form fields with responses based on identifiers within the referring URL. For example, browsing to the URL such as http://creator.zoho.com/blahblah/blah/form/123&MyFavourColour=Red would automatically select the response "Red" to the question "What is your favourite colour?". alexandrakp

User cannot see database on Mac or PC despite being invited?
Hi all, Another trivial question, apologies! I have created 4 databases that I'm testing in the office. I have shared the database with 2 people. One of them can see the form fields no problem... but the one other user can get into the form but cannot see the form fields database itself. All he can see is the headers of the forms and views and the rest of the page is blank! I thought it was a problem with his aging mac so I asked him to bring in his laptop and its the same thing. Search problem
Hi, There seems to be a couple of problems with the Search feature since the weekend. 1) Do a search using two different fields. The search works as expected. Clear one of the search fields and search again. Both search fields are still used as before. The browser (Firefox or IE7 on XP) remembers the original search terms used. 2) Do a search that gives you more than one page of results. Click on the right arrow to see the next page of filtered results and the filter is forgotten showing all records.
View does not go past second page
When I click on pagination button on any of my views while on the second page it will not go to the 3rd page but stays on the second Does anybody else have the same problem? Thanks
Edit Link Doesn't work in Views
Hi, there were a few posts in the sticky about the maintenance but I don't see a bug thread on it. Since the maintenance occured we can not access the edit (the pencil icon) on the view. This makes the software useless since we can't update our information after the record has been created. Please advise as to when this will be fixed. Thanks.
