Hi First thank you for a great system! easy and simple! When I try to set criteria up(views) for it seems that only the first criteria work. (assigned to - starts with - Dennis). The 2. criteria (status - starts with - open) the 3. criteria(status - starts with - on hold). The view result shows only "jobs" assigned to Dennis, but it also shows my "closed" requests. What can be wrong. I tried different criterias but only "assigned to" works. BR Dennis N.B. I am about to build up at system for requests
Edit Field Appearance : Field Width
Hi, I think your software is really cool. It is simple and quick to use and it works. I have embedded into my website. I would like to control the field width of certain columns. Your online documentation shows a 'Field Width' box on the Appearance tab of the Field Edit Properties form. However when I try to find this in the App the Appearance tab only show 'Initial Value' and 'Instructions'. There is no box for 'Field Width'. Can you tell me what has happened to it? And what is the 'Instructions'
Problem in 'edit' icon in list view
Sometimes in the list view, clicking of the 'edit' icon against the record does not open the form for data entry. Please let me know how does it happen and how to avoid such situations.

I would like to add the information from signing in on your site - but only VIEW the information on my site. I do not want the add, delete, update functions to be available from there. I don't want the form accessible at all from my own site. How can I do this? webmaster
Email Notification Not working
9-28-07 I have script in my application that emails on 2 conditions. The 1st condition is that when a field has changed, the application emails me, The 2nd condition is if a field equals a certain criteria (matching text strings), that the application emails me and several others. The email works fine on condition one and it emails me appropriately. The emails on the 2nd condition are not working. In some cases the system does not email me, yet emails others on the list. Hello, I'm trying to tinker with Zoho Creator. It's really a cool tool to populate a database quickly. However ... I want to access the database via a json permalink. I use python and its json module, simplejson. Blue Spacer on Form Headers in IE
Zoho Creator is AMAZING, but on all forms when viewed in Internet Explorer, there is a small blue spacer/gradient that shows up in the header. Is there any way to get rid of that? It works fine in Firefox. joshyoungmusic

I love Creator, but there's a little blue spacer showing up on every form I create and I can't seem to figure out how to make it disappear? Email on update are not sending all of the requested data
I have a creator database set-up to email certain people in my company when fields have been updated in creator. The emails are being generated and sent, but the emails do not include all the fields called for in the free flow scripts. What is interesting is that the original data that was to be included is always in the email. When I updated the script and saved it -the system accepted so I know I am using the correct syntax - it does not include the added fields in the email. Any thoughts? rleaphart

I'm putting together a database for stock trading. In this I have to calculate the risk in the trade by taking the entry price and subtracting the stop price. This order changes depending on whether you go long or short. I have a box they pick for long or short. My problem is that I have tried everything I can think of to get it to calculate correctly but have had no luck - Any Ideas?

"If" logic allowed in formula field calc?
Hello, I am creating an application for a nonprofit auction that will track donors and their donations. Some donors are businesses, others are individuals. I have a formula field in the Donation form as follows: Business_Contact ( type = formula value = Business_Name + ", " + Contact ) If the donor is an individual, Business_Name is blank. If the donor is a Business, occasionally there is no contact name given, so Contact is blank. I would like to put some "If" logic in the formula for Business_Contact
delete bug
When I try to delete an application or a form, the "Deleting" or "Please wait" message just stays on indefinitely. And it doesn't really delete anything because when I reload the page, the application/form is still there. drewbocz

my browser (firefox primarily) constantly hangs on uploading XLS's. it will no longer allow me to delete apps. it also is saying "data upload successful" where there is no data record in the viewer. did my account get corrupted somehow? paulo
System not working - follow up
Further to my earlier comment I have now looked more closely at other replies and I now realise that my problem is caused because I am using Safari on a Mac. It seems that this is not supported by Zoho and therefore you have lost me as a potential customer - pity! richard
System not working
I have been trying for more than a week to try out your system to see if it isuitable for our needs. So far it has constantly stuck on 'Please Wait' and I have been unable to edit forms, edit data or create a new application. I have read on your forum that others are having similar problems and you simply reply that the system cannot cope when it is heavily used and that you are fixing the problem. How long will this take? Although your system looks good, I cannot justify using it when it appears
Set permission to EDIT only STILL not working?

IE7 Errors
The following HTML code is embedded in two separate websites and neither will display the form properly in IE7. project filter question
Hi, After searching high and low for a GTD application that fits the way I work, I found Zoho Creator and it's great! The only problem I'm having is in filtering out inactive projects. I'm a new user to Zoho Creator and have been trying to add just some basic fields, like multi-select to my form, but as soon as I press "done", it just sits on "Please wait..." and never proceeds. Unable to save edits on embedded view
Problem just developed in last two days. Embedded view on a blog (tried embedding elsewhere to ensure it was not a 'Blogger' hosting problem - problem exists everywhere). Can successfully select the pencil icon retrieving the form - can successfully change values on fields - however clicking on 'update' then results in a 'circular hourglass' at the top of the view appearing to process but have left for half hour at a time - and the update does not occur. My New Record Form
I've created a New Problem entry form, and when I send this to others to use with their ID, it is not allowing them to see the form. It just sits on the page where it looks like it's pulling it up for multiple mins. I've checked and I had them added on the share for all forms, and I've checked all the views to make sure the permissions were set. Please advise. chris
Single Line - Sorting

Printing a form
Hello. I have an application for ministry leaders in our church to fill out a form for ministry events. I have the form created for their input. What I'd like to be able to do is have a section below their input fields for office use only for approval signatures, etc. I'd also like for them to be able to print the form on clicking the submit button. I am trying to figure if there is a way to add specific options that one can select when doing a search. By default, the drop down menu in a search has "contains, is not, etc." and then a field below it for a user to enter information. I am wondering if you can make that drop down menu contain specific categories. For example, say in a particular column called "Fruit" I have either apple, orange or pear in any given row. Radio Buttons - Formatting
Is it possible to have the radio buttons line up with all the other fields in my form (such as text boxes and drop-down boxes)? Currently, they are appearing UNDER the field title, instead of next to it. Also, I've noticed that if I have radio buttons with long labels, those labels will "wrap" underneath the radio button (instead of indenting). Is there a way to have them all on one line, rather than wrapping? The page certainly is wide enough. Thanks for your time!
