It would be *extrememly* nice to be able to have an option (like a checkbox) for field types of import form data that offers the option to display the selection as a link. For example: A Client Contact with an import form data field that is taken from a Company form. Can't create a group

Filter not working
Hi, If you look at my Dating application, http://zohocreator.com/leejordan/dating/ on the First Dates tab, you will see that there is a First Date where 'sophie jordan' is Person1 and another First Date where 'sophie jordan' is Person2. If I use the Filter for Person1 = 'sophie jordan' then it shows just the one date. However if I use the filter for Person2 = 'sophie jordan' then it shows the same date as if i were filtering on Person1. Can you fix this please? I would also like to be able to offer

How to Search records
Hi, My View displays a lot of records and each record has a State value (up, down, in, out, etc). If I click on the Search Records button at the top of the View how can I show records that are NOT in the Up state, ie exclude records that are not Up? Thanks, Lee

Branding and display of indivdual record

The display worked and the data was there BUT there was no branding or link back or anything - simply the data. HTML Page Title
Zoho Creator should add a title to its container HTML page. Today, there does not seem to be one, which means that the tab on the browser looks something like http://www.zohocreator.com/ghalimi/my-application/, instead of something like Zoho Creator -> My Application. Relationships among Tables (Forms)
I am familiar with Microsoft's Access database but am having some troubles with Zoho Creator. Specifically, I want to create two tables with a one-to-many relationship. One table, Basic, would have the fields "Stock Name" and "Symbol" (the one table). The other table, Detail, would have the fields "Symbol", "Date", "Trans. More visible confimation of a submit
It would be great if there is a more visual way to tell a user, that the form is successfully submitted. Currently, there is only a one second "Data Successfully Added!" message flashing on the screen. An option for something far more obvious, like a popup window would be more intuitive to an end user. How To - Static Variables
Is there any way to have a static variable defined in the script but not visible in the code? I am trying to add in a standard response when people submit forms, but the response is longer than 255 characters. So, what I would like to try is assign the text to a variable (a text area), then use the variable in the email subject. Is there a way to do this?
Zoho Creator | Multiple Tabbed Forms
I have attached a blank Excel spreadsheet template - this is for job tracking for my brand communication company. We are presently using google spreadsheets and sharing among the team. adding a \"Tab Display/Rearrange\" button
As I've mentioned in other posts, I have a problem with my layout due to the fact that I have so many tabs in my application. However, some of the 'form' tabs I don't always need access to because I can simply add new items from the corresponding 'view' tab. Therefore, could you add a button similar to the 'Column Display/Rearrange' button that would allow me to Display the tabs I use regularly and hide the tabs that I only use occasionally? Error message from embedded form giving "500"
I have embedded a data entry form into a website via the javascript method. The app is my "flightbooker" app which (with great help!) only allows three pupils to book each instructor. When a fourth pupil tries to book using the standard zoho-hosted interface, the correct error message appears. However when a fourth pupil tries to book via the embedded entry form, a pop-up appears (similar to the "data added successully" pop-up). In Firefox this pop-up contains a "500: page could not be displayed"
Importing data into an existing application
I want to create an application with multiple linked tables (forms, right?) and I have the data all set up in Excel spreadsheets. I imported the first table (form) easily enough when I created the application. Now I want to create additional forms, yes? And import the other spreadsheets into the new forms -- but I can't figure out how to do it. Am I missing something, or is this not supported yet?

I recently invited my children to share a database I set up. I entered the e-mail addresses and then clicked on "Invite". I received no indication that the Invites were sent out. Can you advise? Thanks, Frank Driscoll

Two forms, one database?
Is there any way to have two forms share the same database. For example, I have a database with 20 fields. Form 1 allows you to enter information for all 20 fields. Form 2 only allows you to add data for 10 fields. Can this be done? Thanks! jadymitchell
Hiding Data
Is there anyway to hide the summary view when creating a list view. I have a form with 4 text fields, 2 of which I want to share in a list view, 2 of which I want to hide. I've shown the 2 in the list view, but my users can simply click on the record and the entire summary view shows up. andrew.kippen

Auto-Create new Application?
I just started using Zoho Creator with my only other experience like this being a bit with Filemaker. First let me explain what I'm using it for. I'm in the home automation industry and we run hundreds of wire throughout a home. I want to keep track of each room, funtion and type of wire run and attach a number to that wire. For instance; Masterbedroom, Wire #20, Network Jack, Cat5e, Blue, Wall Plate to Structured Panel. I made a nice little app in FM a couple years ago, but Zoho makes it available

Can't export to XLS

Primary Key
I am attempting to tie a record input in form A to a record input in form B. I would assume that each record is provided a unique Primary Key by Zoho Creator. How do I tie one record to another using this Primary Key? records not displaying properly
In most all of my 'views' only a few records show up instead of the default 10 records. And when I click the next page button it seems to take me to the next 10 records but again only displays the first few records.

No Such Personality Exists ?????
I'm having all sorts of creator issues today. 1) I created a form and modified the on success email information. Then I un-commeted it and tried to save and it says "No Such Personality Exists : 92158" What does that mean? 2) When I was creating a form, I tried to create two sets of checkboxes (or drop down menus) and it kept telling me an error occurred, please refresh. View only personal data
I am designing an application that allows users to track when they complete certain tasks. I wonder if there is a way to restrict viewing of data to only your own? In other words, a user should be able to enter when he or she has completed a task, but should not be able to see status for other users. A related issue is that certain users should be "administrators" - they would have permissions to view all data, not just their own. Internet Explorer issue
I have a problem when accessing an application via IE (this happens with multiple accounts accessing the site from multiple computers - only common point is IE).
