When I then use the application and try to add a value in to this field I get the error "1. Failed to Add Data. Error at on submit script. I have my project up and running and it's private. How can I subscribe to the RSS feed then? I'm trying to use RSS Menu and I put in the username/password but ZoHo doesn't accept it. Is there a way to subscribe to the private feed?

Booking list
I'm a bit stuck trying to create an app matching pupils to instructors. What I want it to do is this: 1. An instructor signs up, inputting their name and the date(s) they will be available 2. Pupils chose which instructor to go with on which day, BUT with a limit of three pupils per instructor per day. 3. Have a list view, showing signed-up instructors and the pupils who have signed up to each so far. I can't figure out how to make the limit...
default sort column and sort order
Currently 'views' sort according to the last entry which is okay some of the time. Custom Filter problem
Hi, In my application http://www.zohocreator.com/leejordan/elections3/ on the Elections tab I have created a View called CW that only shows those records where the Elected_Hub field = cablewireless. I actually want this to be Cable&Wireless but whenever I add the & I get the error "An unexpected error occured. Kindly refresh the page". Can you investigate this please? Was there any big 'in your face' banner or anything on ZoHo Creator about the scheduled maintenance? I didn't realize it was going to go down today and 24 hour notice would be great. :) I'm not mad, I just think that it should have been more obvious that it was going to go down. Linking Data Elements
I am curious how you tie data from one form to another. For example. You have several differnet people in the DB and several addresses. People are stored in one table, addresses in anotehr. Special Character Recognition
Looks like zohocreator doesn't recognize special characters - is that correct? What I mean be special characters is those that are not part of the English alphabet, but are part of other alphabets. We have people registering for an event in Germany and some have special characters in their names: � � � � Is there a way to add support for these types of characters? Hidden field problem
When fields have the "Hide this field to others" box checked, they are not available for viewing/editing by people that you are sharing the application with - only to yourself. Is there any way to change this? I want everybody to be able to access the form, but only those folks that I am sharing the application with to have access to certain fields. This seems like it should work that way, but appears that it does not... Am I missing something?
Total a column
I working on an application to allow users to track when they have done certain tasks. The administrator should be able to go back and get various reports. One report would be the total number of tasks an individual has performed. Another report would be the total number of tasks performed by all individuals. In each case, the code needs to use a formula to get a count of an entire column. I know that it is possible to add two or more fields within a row, but is it possible to get a sum of all rows
Private Results
If I were to create a signup form with name, address and email, is there a way to keep this information private? I want the form public, but the results should not be made public. Is this a current option? If not, can it be? I don't want spam bots getting email address' or other people finding all the personal data.
intermittent data flow
Hi, During the past few days I have experienced lots of slow response and pauses in data flow when using Zoho Creator. During the same time I have had no problem with data flow from other sites, even other Zoho sites, so I assume there must be some issues on the ZC server-side? Thanks, Anton
Formula field containing value of field from another form
Hi, In my dating application, http://zohocreator.com/leejordan/dating/ I have been very politaically incorrect by adding a Gender field on the 'Add your Profile' form. Over on the First Dates form I would like to be able to display the Gender of each person selected in my view. So I guess that what I need is a Formula field on the First Dates form that somehow references the Gender field for the record of the person selected in Person1 and Person2. Can I do that? Bad integration solutions
Your solution with individual username, and or emailusername that is incompatible across the various platforms, read apps, some even with restrictions on amount of letters allowed, makes Zoho impossible to use effectively without a big list of usernames to assist the user, or the user have to reregister into all the apps after discovering how bad everything is designed together. Single select/Multiple select \'Choices\' box
I have a problem with the usability of the Single select/Multiple select 'Choices' box. My problem has to do with the fact that if the choices are edited in any way they no longer show up in their original records. Then I must go back and reselect the choices in each individual record. To get around this I can create a form where I can add my choices. I then use the 'import data from' field type to select my choices. Then if I want to edit a 'choice' I don't end up losing everything. The problem

Views as HTML Tables
It's me again.. Excel has a very neat feature called a Web Query whereby a range can be populated with data from any HTML table source on the net. When I try this with a ZohoCreator View I'm not able to import data with this method (I guess due to the table being Javascript generated). What would be nice, would be an pure HTML table feed similar to the RSS and JSON feeds already offered. problem with editing rows in views
Hi, I am getting strange behaviour in views when I edit rows. Rows will disappear and then reappear, or appear with old data that has been changed. Public access to parts of a private project

tab display
I have added a number of tabs in my application (10 so far) and this has caused the tab bar to exceed the width of my browser window (so now there is a horizontal scroll bar appearing). I wonder if it might be a worthwhile idea to allow a different layout of tabs, perhaps with multiple tab bars or possibly 'sub-tabs' (like sub-menus) so as to make the application interface more compact? It would be nice to be able to save a view without including all the search and display features (see image) Also instead of displaying the content on top of the view table, The selected name would show as links that would open in a new iframe or page (with custom header and footer)

Problem adding single select
I am having a re-occuring problem adding a single select (Pick List, radio) to my application. In Firefox, I get "error has occurred, kindly reload"; in IE I either get a javascript error which refers to a missing object or the page just hangs. Please help! Otherwise, keep up the great work!

Sort Order Changes
I sort my items by priority and I have it setup to go from high priority to low (arrow pointing down). Then I edit or add a project and when the screen re-freshes, it orders things by priority low to high (arrow pointing up). Also, is there a way to set a cookie or something to remember the sort order so I don't have to re-choose it every time? Thanks :)

Hello. 1. I've created a couple of applications and noticed that forms don't always provide the "Import Data" link. What determines this? Calculated fields? 2. When a calculated field is included in a form, how do you force recalculations upon editing data in the record? Thank you!!
Unicode support killed
With the latest update you "killed" unicode support for picklists. This destroyed existing data. Even before it was impossible to save an existing form in script mode, if it included non ascii characters. This is a serious problem. You can't create any non english application. I hope an indian company is not as ignorant as many american firms, who forget 90% of the world. Except for this bug. question on many-to-many relationships
Just wondering - what is the recommended approach to implementing many-to-many relationships? E.g., let's say we have a customers form and a contacts form. Each contact can (optionally) be associated with one or more customers and each customer can (optionally) be associated with one or more contacts. In this case, should we simply insert a multi-select import field (e.g. 'customer_name') in the contacts form (or vice versa)? Or is it better to use a separate Customers_Contacts 'associative' form
Error message but no script to edit
Hi, I am seeing this error message: "Error generating the page Check whether the tablename is correct or the respective data-dictionary has been loaded." No line or column position is mentioned and no script is displayed for editing. I inserted a multi-select field that references a unique field in another table and found that the GUI looked OK but the script would not save (even when nothing had been modified).
