Linking Clients and Companies to a "Project" (not a Zoho Project)

Custom Sorting in Reports
Can I custom sort a report by the stage field. Under field setup for the potentials view I can add a sales stage field and sort each stage how I want them. Example: Fallback, Qualifying, Presentation, Needs and Solutions, Activate and Transition, Retain. I want to create a pipeline report that sorts the stages in this order. I know I can sort alphabetically ascending or descending, but can I sort them in order of sales stage?
How to get total number of leads using API ?
I am using Zoho CRM API and have gone through getRecords method as mentioned on https://www.zoho.com/crm/help/api/getrecords.html But there is no any way to get total number of leads ? Also, should we can get list of leads with specific field value search For ex : I want leads having last name as "Thomas" ? Please let me know.

How to create a Child field - Potential and in General?

Hi I have added a couple of users of which need to confirm at some stage, I have added one person but it comes up with the following error message: "This Email address is already taken. Specify a different Email address for the user" Also, How can the system be used so that more than one user can view all updates and new entries so that it is used as a central system for all users?
Export Contacts from certain Countries
Hi, I want to know if it is possible to export contacts from certain Countries. I have all my contacts but I need all from, let's say, Colombia and Ecuador. For what I have tried here, it always exports all my contacts. Thank you!
A one click option to add an Account to the Vendor list
Quite a number of my Accounts and Contact are also vendors and I have to enter their details in twice or get tricky with export an import. A check box to add to vendor would be a big time saver for me. Having the data cross referenced would be good to so when we change one the other is updated as well.
Contact name does not show in event view when it's a lead
This is a task filled out that is attached to the LEAD module. This person is NOT a contact yet. Just a LEAD. When I view my tasks in the summary, the system does not show her name as the Contact. It will only show the contact name if it's association with the Contact Module, not the Lead Module. See screenshot below. Move Modules Under Quick Actions
I have been using Zoho CRM for some time now and as much as i like the updated UI i still feel there are improvements to be made as i seem to do a lot of scrolling to see other modules under database fields. Zoho did made some improvements in the latest UI by adding "Quick Actions" on the right side of the page for "Add Call, Send Email, ETC" however i would like to see them add other modules like "Open Activities, Closed Activities, Stage, Attachments, ETC" I have taken some time to show how this

When I send an email during CRM activities, the system send : send by (name....)@zohocrm.com But I do not want appears these info, i just want mail-receiver see my email, without @zohocrm.com final part. Linking Account address information with Contact address information
Hi there, I would like to automatically link the Account address to associated Account Contacts. I see that there are fields (such as "LinkedOrganizationPostalStreet") that show in the Contacts tab, yet those fields don't automatically populate when a new Contact is added and associated to the parent Account. Pipeline report only pulling some contact info
I have added the fields of contact name, email, title, phone. I cloned the standard Open Potentials report and added Contacts to the report. When I run the report, only some potentials include contact name/email/etc; some of the potentials do not. Why is this happening? Thanks. Avrom

System incredibly slow
I recently signed-up for professional edition of Zoho and as first step decided to do some customization. My experience has been extremely poor as for every update system goes to sleep. With "Loading" tag at the top for almost two minutes after each attempt to edit a field or save the change, I took hours to update only few fields before I gave up out of frustration. Looking at Forum issues on slowness, I am seriously having a rethink whether I should spend my energies on customization to use Zoho

How to change Surname to optional feild
I have lot of leads with First name only. These came to us through Web Forms, referrals or telephone calls where people did not mention their last name (Surname). I can not upload these leads in system as it has "Surname" field locked and mandatory. Please advise how we can fix this and load our data. I would also want to have <First Name><Last Name> display on my list instead of <Last Name> <First Name> display.

Error creating cases in Zoho Mobile CRM
When creating a case using the Zoho CRM mobile application, it will not allow you to save a new case with a blank email address. It says that email address is required. However, I confirmed that in the web version a new case can be created normally without an email address, and I also confirmed that this field is not required in the Cases Layout setup section.
Custom Field Limitations, Poor Customer Support, Bate & Switch
I have never experienced poorer customer service, with any company ever. Zoho has a single goal, to Upgrade your version and increase its bottom line. It is NOT interested in helping your BUSINESS. Otherwise, they would actually provide support (like it did when it first came out). I had the FREE version. I was told (electronically) to upgrade to create custom fields. I test drove the Standard. I added the custom Fields. Never used them, as I was testing. Went back to FREE version and finished
