Scanner problem on mobile app
Anyone having problems with the barcode scanner through Creator? I have a database which is used as an inventory system for surplus computers and scan the manufacturer barcode. I have been using a mobile app scanner field, but it is very inconsistent (only about 30%) actually scanning a barcode through Creator. I thought it might just be my phone (Nexus 6P), but I don't think that is the case anymore as evidenced below. I started using an Android app called Bar Code Scanner Pro (on the same phone)

I am having trouble with consistent results with ActiveSync and Zoho Mail using Outlook 2013 (Updated) on Windows 10. I am finding that the only consistent results I get with ActiveSync is updating of "Inbox" and "Sent" folders. Wildcard user for project templates
Would be nice to have a kind of wildcard user related to the project owner for example. This way you could assign the wildcard user to tasks when designing a project template in order to get them assigned differently each time depending on who starts a project using the template. In fact i thought that the user "me" was meant to act like this.

Feature Request - iPhone App Add Call Import New Contact from Phone
Greetings, I would like to make a feature request for the iOS app. When adding a New Call from the iOS app, the only option for adding a new contact is to manually enter the information. However, when viewing the list of contacts, the user has the ability to import a contact from their own device. This option should also be available from the Add Call screen. Thanks! Jon

I have noticed that my notes have not been saving when I use the mobile site. Today I had to get on a laptop and re-enter everything in. Also, I cannot see my previous notes on the mobile site.
Android App - Unable to create task for team member
Hi, I'm having a problem with the Android app (on a Samsung S7 phone) where i can't create a task for a team member. There is no problem on the web I/F or on the iOS app - you just select the team member from the drop down list. On the Android app you can only select the actual user in the drop down list, none of the team members even appear. I would appreciate any help anyone can offer. Thanks! Gary

Field disappeared, now not updating! please help...
Hi Zoho, In my application, on my Commercial_Terms_form form, I had a field named Project_Name. This field was used in a variety of scripts, but somehow it just disappeared - so I could not send the form, since it is mandatory. When I tried to add a new field under that name the system only allowed me to name the field "Project_Name1" (like there was already a field under that name - but there wasn't). Finally I have added this field on the "with action" script of the form, using the following script:

How To Change The "From" Section When Sending Emails
I'm trying to change the "from" section when I send emails so that instead of my personal username it says the name of my store. I have already gone into settings and updated the "send mail as" which you can see in the attachment, however when I send a test email it is still showing my old username. ZOHO CRM is crap...here is why...#1. in/out emails are not saved to a contacts record...basic CRM101 - heck one of the top 5 reasons to have a CRM. #2. zoho.com email is snagged by most spam filters so only a small percentage of your emails will get through...it's a huge pita...most CRM's let you use your mail server...ZOHO grabs it and sends it through the zoho mail server which in the past allowed spaming so it got blacklisted so that means your emails will not go through... - basic 101 CRM features

Hi, Is there some way to notify the record owner of lets a potential or contact when notes are made by other users? Lets say Contact A is owned by Staff B. Contact A then calls the company and staff C picks up the phone. Staff C answeres the questions that Contact A and add a note in the CRM regarding the phone call. Issuing alerts associated with Notes
Is there any way to create a workflow rule that issues an alert when a Note associated with a Potential, Account or Lead is created or modified? From what I can see, Notes are the primary document used to for Client Visit reports but I can't figure out how to disseminate that information through the sales organization. So far I have only been able to generate alerts associated with changes to the core data for the Potential, Account or Lead. Any suggestions would be most welcome.
