The term RSVP is the abbreviation of the French phrase “répondez s’il vous plaît” (please respond). An RSVP is a polite request for you to inform the host whether or not you’ll be attending their event so they can plan accordingly. This will in turn help the host to plan the event based on the number of attendees.
This week's tip will help you in knowing the different ways available in
Zoho Calendar for responding to an event. The responses you can make are:
- Yes - You are attending the event.
- No - You are not attending the event.
- Maybe - You may or may not be attending the event. (You have to check later to change your response in case you wish to attend)
You can RSVP to an event invite using the following options:
Event Notification:
Once the host/ organizer creates an event and add you as a participant in an event you will be notified in your
Zoho Calendar/
Zoho Mail Notification Center (The bell icon on top right of your window). You can respond to the invite in the notification by choosing the preferred option.
