How to create lead with no company field?
I'm a real estate agent and my customers do not have a "company" field. Can I disable this field or edit it to be useful. I'm not sure what to use as a company field when importing my leads as well.

Is there a way to automate lead scoring? I used salesforce currently and looking to migrate, however, the key functionality that's necessary for our team is a lead scoring chart integrated into the CRM so that when I go on the leads page I can just sort by score. (the higher the score the hotter the lead) Currently you can do that only by setting manual scores, however, with salesforce I can currently set values for automated scoring. Email alert when a file is added to a lead - possible?
I'm curious as to know if this is possible. I am wanting to set up an automated workflow where: Lead is created (no trigger) PDF is manually added to lead profile (trigger) Email alert sent with file attached If Zoho cannot perform this, is there any solution that can integrate with zoho to do this? Zoho API insert product record subform
I'm trying to insert products into the Zoho CRM via the API (version 1.0). I have several hundereds of products in a custom XML file that need to be inserted in the CRM as products in my custom layout, but I am encountering several issues. Tracking venue availability via a calendar.
I need to have one centralized calendar where all of our account reps can check the availability of a venue. We have 2 venues and they could be in use anytime of the day. If I had to I could have a calendar for one venue and a different calendar for the other venue. Would I do this with a Google Calendar? Any Ideas ? Thanks Charlie
Workflow Question
Hi, I created a workflow so that our salespeople receive an email notifying them that a stage has been changed for a "Deal" to the next step which is the "Site Visit" stage. It's working fine but is there a way that the auto-email can include a link to the actual Deal whose stage has changed. Right now it's just sending them an email stating "this client is ready for a site visit" but there's no way to identify the client. Thanks.

Profile settings to deploy sandbox changes
I do not see the ability to turn on or off the deploy changes from within sandbox. Manage Sandbox does not allow those with that enabled to see the button. I am the admin and I can see it. I want to create a profile for my developer so that he can add the approved changes from the sandbox into production..

"User already present in another CRM account"
Hi - I've tried to add my final user through the zoho admin panel, but am getting a "User is already present in another CRM account" error. While I originally set up my users through the CRM, and not through the admin panel, all of the users were deleted through the CRM. This is the only user who triggered the error when added through the admin panel. Can we clear the email truy (at) autometrix (dot) com?
Confusion About Workflow
I create a work flow on Lead, when ever lead is assigned to sales person a task is created for Sales person I also created a workflow rule on Task “Create & Edit” even, this work flow execute the custom Function. What this custom function does that it take Lead’ country field value and update the Task’s country value (which is custom fields). When I create a task manually from CRM interface it works fine…. but all task created from Lead WorkFlow rule does not update task country field value.
What is the best way to create a report that compares actual vs. forecast?
I know you can see some information in the Forecast module, however I would like to pull some of that information into a report and don't see how to include forecast information in a report in the CRM.

Individual Mails to contacts that are added to an event
Hi, would be great help to have the following option: add contacts to an event as a "participant" without sending an email to them automatically. Then having the oportunity to send an email to them with out our the email templates to send relevant information to the participants at a (maybe also scheduled) point of time. At the moment participants of an event can only be "invited" when you add them to the event, but no kind of "customized" email notification is possible... That would be a big help
Lead conversion form with Potential
Hi, When you convert a Lead to a Contact with an associated Account and create a Potential is there a way of adding the Probability percentage relating to the Potential at the time of conversion as opposed to modifying the Potential when it has been created. Dear CRM Team, This week, the email delivery status didn't work for emails sent from Zoho CRM, using POP3. I have tried several POP emails (gmail, hotmail, gmail work email) and different receiving emails, but none of them worked. Even though these emails have been clicked and opened, the email delivery status in CRM always showed "sent" or "received", which was supposed to be "opened". Bounced Emails Are Not Being Flagged & Auto Opt-Out
I wonder if anyone else is having this problem. It is destroying my marketing business because I don't want to send emails out when it will not automatically keep my lists "clean" by flagging a bounced email and automatically opting them out like it is supposed to. PickList not updating during LEADs Conversion
I have a custom field (2 value pick-list) in leads which needs to transfer into Contacts and Potentials during conversion (Convert Button). similar pick lists are available in both Contacts and Potentials. it works for Potentials as expected but not for contacts. i also did Lead conversion mapping correctly for correct layouts. the pick list value in Contacts is always empty. however, other fields get transferred with correct values but not that pick-list value. what cause this problem?

Webform: Overwrite Hidden Lead Source with URL Lead Source
When someone fills out my webform, I have a hidden field with "Website" as the Lead Source. But suppose I buy a banner ad on SomeDirectory.com. I will want to send people to my website but I want the Lead Source to come though as SomeDirectory (or some other value) instead of "Website". Is it possible to pass the Lead Source value through the URL? Such as abc.com?leadsource=SomeDirectory or pass a UTM value as the lead source? I would want the value in the URL to overwrite the value in the webform.

When we create a new contact, or update a field in an existing contact, the new data seems to be unsearchable for 120 seconds. For instance: 1. We create a new record with Detaine_Reference_Number = 12345 2. We use the search to find any records with Detainee_Reference_Number of 12345 and the API returns 204 No Content 3. Querry | Budget Autocomplete
Hi, In the potential module and when I try to create a budget, I do not automatically upload the invoice / physical address. It happens whether I have an associated contact or an account or both in the potential. For the moment, I am obliged to create the budget from the contact / account module so that all the data is autocompleted. Is this a bug? or is there something that I can modify in the design? Event notification issue
Every time I edit an event it emails everyone invited to that event. However mostly I am just doing admin updates and so don't want the invitees to be emailed. How do I stop these emails being sent so not to confuse the participants?
