Creating custom 'custom ranges' and naming them
Hi everyone! I've been using Zoho reports for a few weeks now and I feel like I have encountered something that is not yet supported. Please let me try to explain. We are currently building an automated reporting system which reports on lead time/turnaround time. Doing so, we have created several ‘custom formula’ columns which use the 'datediff' function. We created pivot tables (all quite simple). We want to automatically divide the table into 'acceptable', 'marginally inacceptable' and 'inacceptable’
The parameter login_name does not match the accepted input pattern
Each time my client tries to sign up for an account she receives this error message. What's wrong? We've enabled shared view for one of our report dashboards but of course she can't access it.
ZOHO Reports: Multiplying Weight of product by Quantity
Hello, I'm in Zoho Reports and running a pivot table of my sales line items which are products & each product has a weight associated with it. However if a customer is getting "3" of something, I want the weight to be multiplied by 3 and the Report isn't doing that. How do I build a formula like this in a pivot table report? Let me know, thanks! **For example, "1" Lookout Rock weighs 11,500 lbs. But we have two of them & want the weight of both in the Grand Summary.
Layout and design of widgets in dashboards
I really want to be able to show 6 or 8 widgets in my weekly dashboard, and it's important that I be able to export the final dashboard to PDF. The difficulty I'm having is getting the widgets to lay out in any way that looks graphically acceptable. For instance, I cannot understand what conditions lead to text wrapping of the title. Is there a way to left justify both the title text and the metric text? I've been unable to find any documentation for how to manipulate the widgets in dashboards.
Permission Denied for Exporting Created Reports
When I try to export my created report the interface tells me that my permission is denied even though I have complete admin access. I have to be able to export my reports in order to communicate to my company. How can this be fixed? This is what pops up: "Sorry! You cannot export this report because you do not have the permission to export one or more modules that are part of this report."
Fault Displaying pivot table - misses out first few hundred rows
Hi I have created a table in Zoho - My account - Pace - No Training Arranged. When i run this table on Zoho i can see it start on row 1 - when i embed the report in an iframe it starts at row 197 and there is no way to see the preceding 196 entries (the i frame has enough space to show all the entries). I'm doing what I've always done and can't see any settings that have changed. I attach a view from both Zoho and the embedded table. Any help would be appreciated. Joe
Have Inline Display of Charts and Tables in a Scheduled Email
As a business owner and manager when we get hundreds of emails a day it is difficult to open attachments from our mobile device. These KPI reports we get are so important, but really difficult to deal with when there are various attachments. I am suggesting to simply also include the reports inline within the body of the email for at least tables, if not charts and tables. You can still include the attachment of the report as a supplement. Can this be implemented in the near future.
A limit to the number of SQL tables subqueries?
Hi Zoho, Is there a limit to the number of SQL-created subqueries that can be used. I have no trouble making SQL based tables and then basing other queries off of them. However, I have written a series of subqueries, that are joined and suddenly it no longer seems to recognize the name of the table or query. I've checked dozens of times and tried renaming but still no luck even when I try a simple iteration. For example: SELECT "qryTestGreaterThanFour".CONTACTID, Tasks."Due Date" FROM Tasks LEFT
Account record duplpicates
When we run a report we created under Accounts and Contacts we are getting duplicates of account records. When we search in Zoho on accounts, we don't see duplicate account records. All of our account records have been entered manually, so it shouldn't be a data dump issue. Could someone please advise how this might have happened and how we can fix it. Thanks!

Custom Sorting in Pivot Tables Zoho Reports now allows you to sort the Pivot Table columns in a custom order that you define. Custom sorting was a feature that is already available in Charts, which has been extended to Pivot tables now. You can find the Custom Sort order item under the "Sort" menu in Pivot Tables. Invoking the same will allow you to customize the order in which the values of the columns are to be sorted. Setting the order and applying it will sort the column values accordingly.
Lookup by name, then view all for that name by order ID
I have a spreadsheet I've imported as a database. There is a column "order_id" and there is a column "last_name". I need users to be able to easily search by last name (for which there might be several different customers with the same last name), but then immediately click on the order id value in that result to get to the right customer's orders. How can I do this?

Hi, The Zoho Reports 3.0 video shows an example of 3 KPI widgets on the same row in a dashboard. http://blogs.zoho.com/tag/kpi-widgets I am unable to do it. Hello, Can you please help me with the correct way to enter a formula to calculate rate in Zoho Reports? Example: I have a totalizing meter taking readings every 15 minutes. I am wanting to create a rate column that takes the difference of two readings over that time period (15min). Is there a way to do this? Also, is there a formula I can use to get hourly and daily averages of that 15 min data? Thank you for the help.
Possible to show data table underneath chart?
Hi guys, is it possible to add a data table underneath a chart? I'm using a funnel chart which looks nice but it only shows %. It would be good to show numbers underneath as well. In Excel, you can add a data table to most charts which I like. With this, you can easily restore views deleted accidentally from Trash. You can view all the deleted view list using the Trash option at the bottom left of your navigation tree. You can find the options to restore or delete the view permanently, when you mouse over the views listed under Trash. The views will be maintained in trash for 45 days
Sequential Numbering in a Column
Use Case: I'm using Zoho Reports to compile the results of an online exam and issue certificates based on the exam completion. I would like to number these sequentially as they come into Zoho Reports via an API. So starting with, say, certificate 1507, the next entry into the database should be 1507+1=1508. Is there a way to apply a formula to a Certificate # column so that incoming data is assigned a unique, sequential number? Any help would be much appreciated!
DECIMAL and LONG INTEGER fields cannot be computed when not filled in!
Hi I have DECIMAL and LONG INTEGER fields in Potential table: 1) Reports displays blank when DECIMAL and LONG INTEGER fields are empty. Display is OK when filled in, but it's a new field in the CRM 2) When you add formula columns in Potential, summing the DECIMAL or LONG INTEGER field with an INTEGER field, the formula column remains blank if the DECIMAL and/or LONG INTEGER field(s) are empty! Hope someone checks and corrects this very soon as I have a critical report to issue. Thanks.

Hi, I have shared a number of views/reports with users over the last few months. Now I would like to get an inventory on which users have access to which view/reports/database and at what permission. How do I do this? I am hoping I don't have to select each table, view, report to find who has permissions to access it as that could tedious. Thanks Sunil

Is it possible to filter a report through a different category than date?
Reports of Zoho CRM are great, however we only would like the details of tasks that have the status of not started. I can add the status as part of the customization, however i cannot filter out unnecessary tasks that have been completed in the time frame, by anything other than date. How can I filter reports to only show specific information outside of dates?

Pipeline report that show opportunities as of today
How do I create a weekly trending stacked pipeline stage report using an "as of" date of the day I run the report? The x-axis will show the weekly date. But I am not sure how I create a formula for this. The purpose of the report is to show the change in the pipeline from week to week. Thank you.
Report displaying 0 values
Good morning, In our "Monthly Win Rate" report from the Potentials module, both the lost and won deals should be displayed. The won deals are displayed correctly, but the lost deals always show zero (0), which is an incorrect value. Any advice as to how to fix this? I have attached a screenshot of the problem.
