Ideas for customization specific to Real Estate Agents
I am deciding between Zoho and 2 other real estate specific CRM programs (propertybase.com and plan plus online). I love the clean feel of Zoho but am a little intimidated by having to figure out how to customize the platform to better suit my needs. Has anyone implemented a customization: specifically for real estate agent/broker needs? Would you share your setup? Thanks, Jeff
Custom function
hello, The IT admin of ZCRM create all custom function. When a user update an account the custom function is called, no problem. The problem is that the field MODIFY BY is always the IT admin (= the creator of the custom function). And when the sales director want a report to know who work, there is just IT ADMIN because his custom function update all objects. Do you know a tips to keep the field MODIFY BY with the name of the user and not the creator of the custom function ? The proble is the same
Cannot Embed youtube video to send out mass email
I am trying to embed one of our company instructional how to videos into a email template. I click on the HTML tab It lets me insert, I see a preview, I click save and the embed is removed. Is there a way to import products onto accounts?
I would like to import the products that we want to list on a customer. This can be more than one product on an account. It would be a massive task to manually add all products to accounts, which we can extract from our ERP system.
Problem with custom fields when merging contacts
Bug report. I have a custom field set up in contacts. When I merge duplicate contacts, it always loses the data in that field, even if that field showing the correct data it is checked in the merge confirmation page.

Hi, I have a client with a 16 page form they want to populate from mail merge from the fields. All that is fine and completed no problems, the only issue is they also have within the document a PDF they want to populate too. Can you add mail merge fields to a PDF and how ? Many thanks Mark
Cannot add products to a quote
I am trying to add line items to a quote - the Add Products button simply does not work. (THE BUTTON DOES NOT NOTHING; A JAVASCRIPT ERROR IS VISIBLE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE BROWSER) This worked before and seems to have stopped working once the multi-currency option was enabled. Please help.
Turn off Feed in CRM Mobile App

Has Zoho made this change to annoy me with date/time fields?
I have a custom module which has a Date Time field in it. Ever since I started using it, it was easy - I just typed in the time, such as 1540 and it would appear correctly as 15:40 Now, though, I cannot type in the time. I have to type in 15 then hit the tab key and then type 40. Then, annoyingly the pop-up time picker which is in half hour increments remains visible, blocking the fields below it. What have you done Zoho? You have made the Date Time field much more difficult to use.
Importing Contacts with Account
I just noticed my mass import of contacts converted all the company names to vendors. They are not. The companies for these contacts will all be clients. How can I mass convert Vendors to Clients? Also, why did CRM chose for me? Why did it not ask during the import process? Thanks, Joe
Differentiate between Recurring and One Time Charges on Quotes
Has anyone found a way to differentiate between recurring and one time charges on quotes? We have different types of services/products that need to be tracked a a recurring charge or as a one time charge. Any suggestions?

CRM Search on Leads and Contacts
Can you make the Lead name or Contact name the first column on the left when displaying search results? The current search results display is very confusing for clients. We have to tell them to look to the far right column for the name. Company and Opportunity have the Company Name and Opportunity Name in the far left column, but Leads and Contacts show the Owner in the far left column.
Change to Quote/Invoice HTML Editor in Zoho CRM has broken quotes and invoices
Zoho, in the past week or so you have made an unannounced change to the HTML Editor in Zoho CRM for Quotes and Invoices. This change automatically strips out <style> tags and custom HTML attributes that are added in the custom HTML view every time you edit and save a Quote/Invoice template. As a result, you have broken quotes and invoices for numerous customers that have relied on this functionality for years. Professional Edition: We are setting up a new website/company i currently send introduction emails via outlook after speaking with a company. 1. I was wondering if it is possible for Zoho in some way to send an intro email automatically after i add their details into the crm as a timesaver? 2. Notes and Attachments stuck on Loading
The attachments and notes under the "Potentials" tab (we've modified it to call it something else) for any entry that we have stays stuck on "Loading..." and we can't see the notes or attachments associated with that entry. It's been like this for a couple of days. Notes and attachments appear without a problem in other tabs. I've attached a screen shot of the problem. Please respond with a fix Thanks

Can I map a dependency using 2 date fields?
Hi, I'm looking to map a dependency between 2 date fields - Closing date and Start date. So, if a Potential is closed on e.g. 31st January, I'd like to ensure that the only available Start date could be no earlier than 1st February. I know dependencies can be mapped between pick list items as a standard functionality, but it doesn't look like it can be done for date fields. Has anyone got a workaround? Many thanks, Chris
ZohoCRM Audit Log
How far back should I be able to go in the Audit Log in Zoho? I have the option to use a calendar and select any date, however each time I run it the data seems restricted to the past 3 months. There is no documentation that I can find that states a limit. automatically change lead owner
my website brings in leads for all of my employees. the lead comes in automatically in my name. the problem occurs when two (or more) sales people click on a brand new lead to claim it. There is nothing telling them it is already claimed. If each sales person were to edit the lead owner to themselves and save it only the last change would be in effect essentially letting the person who got there last claim it. what I would like is for the lead ownership to automatically change to the first sales
Is there a way to bypass the 2K record limit when exporting a report?
Hi, Does anyone know any workaround on the 2K record limit per page of Zoho CRM Report? It's actually a pain for me when running my report as I need to pullout more than 2K records everytime, and having to download all the pages then consolidating it is really time consuming and a pain. Thanks!
Quotes - Printing to PDF - missing images
I'm customizing our Quote template. I have it how I want it in the customization, and the preview looks great. but when I go to an actual quote and print it to pdf, the images are all missing. Lead Source Pick list in Import
Hi, I have organized a list for our Lead Sources by alphabet. This lead source list was displaying correctly until this past Thursday (April 28, 2016). Now the list will not display in the order I have set it to appear as in customization. Please help, it's very frustrating that the list is not displaying as it should.

Informe missing, info has dissapeared
Hi, We have been using a report (informe) in which we were able to see the call history report for our team per day. Since yesterday the same report is at 0, we have lost all the info. So we are not able to track the calls. I attach an image of the tool "report.png". We need to see in this report the total number of call per person, in the report named "Llamadas de hoy" we can see all the calls but we need to compile this info by team member. Could we have some help? Thanks!
How to get related records using ID from CRM.
I want to get related contacts when I select a particular account from my Zoho_CRM field on the form I have, I have referred all the CRM tasks and I am doing exactly what they have mentioned. output = zoho.crm.getRelatedRecords("Contacts", ("Accounts"), input.Zoho_CRM_ID); I should get all the "Contacts" of the "Account" I select. but it gives me an error that "expected BIGINT , found STRING" so i did this , output = zoho.crm.getRelatedRecords("Contacts", ("Accounts"), input.Zoho_CRM_ID.toString());
