Using CRM but want to customise headings
We are a hotel and are using Zoho CRM for our database, and are delighted with it. However, we want to customise our headings i.e. leads - Individuals, Contacts - Tour Operators and also add a number of categories. If we purchase Enterprise on the short term and customise the site, can we then revert to Zoho CRM as normal after a short period.
Clarification : Tasks
Areas for clarification : Can a Similar task be created for a group of users - other than cloning method Once a task is created with a reminder for say weekly , if the task is closed from the dashboard will the reminder also extinguish , as say this task is a weekly task so a closure of task also deletes the reminders . Limit on Free Account
I have entered 2,000 leads. The free version goes up to 5,000. But when I try to enter a new lead it says that I have reached the maximum limit. What am I doing wrong? Rolf
Transfer data from Account record to Contact record
Hello, If I create a new contact linked to an account the "mailing" address for the contact auto-populates from the "billing" address of the account. This makes sense. But, in the part of the world at least, I need an extra line for the address. So I have added custom fields like "Billing Street 2" in accounts and "Mailing Street 2" in contacts. I'm assuming that there isn't a better way to do this. My question is whether there is a way to map these custom fields so, in the case above for example,
How can I move address info from the contact to the account
When I imported all my data from a spread sheet the address data was imported inti the contact and does not appear on the account listing associated with that contact. I have already added a bunch of notes so I would rather not redo the original upload and lose that work.

Automatically moving to Closed Activities
Why do events automatically move to "Closed Activities" when the date has passed? The user needs to decide if it has been completed or not. Clients need activities to remain open until they are physically closed. It is impossible to track employees/associates or to see what has really happened on a contact because things just automatically move to closed.

We had some queries and required your assistance to customise : 1. Whenever a task is created , the person who is the owner gets an email , that email subject does not show any client name , so its just a task seen , cant this have clients name as the same is chosen while task is created 2. cannot attach project to account
For the most part this feature works, but we have a few accounts/projects that will not attach. When the save button is clicked nothing happens. A specific account name that will not attach is Chel's Clothes Please let me know what more info you need. Thanks Kim

Import Error Says "Can't Load More Than 1000 Rows"
I'm trying to import a Google Sheets file into CRM using a FREE account. I saved it both as a xlsx, and csv file. I only have maybe 750 rows, yet everytime I try to import either file type it gives me an error msg saying it can't import more than 1000 rows. What's up with that?

Hi I don't get how to link two potentials together. The help topic doesn't talk to me as well. I am running a free licence. Please change default on email template creation
When doing a "leads" email template, the field selection should default to "leads" not "user". It's very easy to put the sender's name in the salutation instead of the recipient's name. Dave

I've created a campaign and selected all the leads that i wish to email. I also have the template ready to send them. please advise on how to send the email out. I have done this before but the system is SO non intuitive that i can never find it again!!

How do I create professional looking newsletters?
Has anyone else been less than satisfied with how the newsletters/mass e-mails from Zoho CRM look? They don't look as professional as newsletters from other available e-mail/newsletter solutions (Constant Contact, MailChimp, etc.). How have you solved this problem and used your Zoho CRM leads/contacts to create professional looking newsletters?
Contact Name in quotes is not working
Cannot search for or enter into Contact Name field in quote module. Have also tried removing from layout and adding back in.

Automatically include Contact email address in Custom Module field
Hello all, I have created a custom module with a few different custom fields that I populate through a csv import. I would like to keep track of bookings (travel business) and the custom fields I created are: Arrival date Departure date Name of the guest Property name (Account) Name of the property owner (Contact) Email address The property name and the name of the owner are both lookup fields. Import of contacts failed after deleting all
I succesfully imported 4 batches of 1000 records xls files. The fifth batch refused, indicating it shouldn't have more than 301 records. I delete all contacts to start again, with that 5th f batch but alas, now all files, including those that imported previously fail with the same cryptic error. How can I get all of my records imported? BTW, the mass delete of contacts is really combersome. Please help.

This limit is unreasonable in my opinion and furthermore if the system refuses the size (which is not documented in the help) all of your other field data is lost. Please review the UI process. Is there a way to link CRM potentials/accounts/contacts with Calendar?
It would be so helpful to be able to link events with the potentials and accounts so it's all logged together and when we go to the event in the calendar, we can link right into the potential/client information. Is there a way to do this?
Would like to be able to link a task to a calendar event
I manage my tasks as follows which I think is fairly common for many business people. 1. I create a list of tasks. 2. I schedule my time in advance as much as I reasonably can. Perhaps I know that I have 2 weeks to complete Task A, which is going to take me 8 hours. Well tomorrow I might schedule a 3 hour block on my calendar to work on Task A. Unfortunately there does not seem to be a good mechanism within Zoho to link a calendar event to a task. I can link a calendar event to just about everything
New to Zoho-CRM Cases-Unable to process your request
When I try to enter a Case in CRM, i enter all the data, then save and it gives me "Unable to process your request" Click here to go back. I can't send email from the lead page
I press the send mail button and instead of opening a new email tab, it says 'Pop-up Blocker is enabled in your browser. Kindly disable that and try again' I am using Chrome on my Mac. I was using Safari, but the same message appeared. I am not that dim and I have disabled the pop up blocker in both Safari AND Chrome, but the message still appears.... Any ideas??
ZOHO CRM reverts changes applied without notice or cause in the last 7 or 10 days
Hi, I have noted that in these last days, Zoho CRM reverts the changes made by us in the last 7 or 10 days. Any general issue that are you facing? So, this means we have lost information of 7 or 10 days... I have checked the auditory register, and changes reflects that we made.
