Emailing Contacts based upon Account criteria
I need to be able to email certain contacts. However the sorting and criteria is based upon fields in the accounts module - not contacts. Example: We use Factory Representatives to sell our product. On the account page it has fields called: Account Type = Factory Representative Status = Active There are many contacts that belong to the above account and those are who I need to email. These fields do not appear on the contacts pages since Account is the one that determines the "Type" and "Status".

I've added companies I want to work with in the Account module but don't have any 'contacts' within that company (account) as I don't know anyone there yet. I am a user of several Zoho modules. Currently, we are using Zoho Forms to take inquiries on our website, and sync with the CRM with Trigger Workflows. The workflows send some emails and it works fine. But then I need to add to that workflow rule that the Lead Owner be assigned via a round robin Lead Assignment Rule. In the end I am going to use Skype and so I can use the inbuilt feature where you click the phone icon that Zoho displays next to phone numbers on some (but not all) pages. But whilst I was doing some trial and error of different options I found a way that may work for a lot of people and is a) very easy and b) free and c) needs no other software / plugins etc So i thought i would post here what I discovered -

Event view with location
After some great advice on here i realised we should use the Location on events to help us. BUT. i s there a way of showing the location in events on the calendar view with out clicking on the event. This would make appointment taking so much easier. We have been writing the location in the subject just so we can see it but that is rubbish. Hopefully this is something that we have missed and not a feature that is in the pipeline.
Mail aliases
Hi! I have connected Zoho CRM with my mailbox via IMAP. This mailbox has a few aliases and I am not sure how to access them. They work but when testing them with mail-tester.com, they get a score of less than 5. It says the Sender ID does not authorize the server to use that address. Is there a way to authorize the use of aliases? So far I have tried to add them with "Organization Emails" tab and "Email Settings > More From Address" We do not want to migrate the mailbox from our own server to Zoho
Why the delay between Zoho Mail and Zoho CRM on inbound email alerts?
So when I have my email set to be received in Zoho Mail and Zoho CRM. I will receive an email and receive the alert from Zoho Mail, it will be received and Zoho CRM too...but here's is the problem. I do not get an alert on the top of my screen for some time. The delays are significant and make working in CRM exclusively a hassle. Paul

Question(s): Our go to market module relies heavily but not exclusively on referral partners that we name "affiliates". As we enter a lead, we will categorize the lead source as "affiliate" (when appropriate). We will have many leads with this categorization. Default Date/Time Format for Import Function
Why is it not possible to set a default Date/Time format for ALL Imports, OR have the Import function remember last used as it does for mapping of import file OR have the CRM use a Date format based on the Users Personal Settings? Every day I have to ensure I remember to set the correct format !!!

Can someone please help me i am losing my mind i have tried hundreds of times to use the zapia UI to connect my web forms to my zoho crm account. it seems to get as far as building the account but no lead gets transferred.. mattter of fact it seems to skip the step where i am supposed to match the fields in the zoho crm to the fields coming in on the web.. Now my pipelines on the home page do not show any lead source and all the reports show a column for Lead Source that is empty with no way to change this. I cannot change the module back to Lead Source because it says there are already instances of it (there aren't, the zoho customer service had me delete them). So now I cannot generate any accurate

Hey all, quick question: I'm trying to figure out if something is possible with Zoho. I have users which come in as "leads", which then attend an event (which I've renamed from Product). I can add the event to a user to show that they will be attending the event. Is there a way to customise that link, however? As in, each user will not be up to the same stage. I would like to be able to show that this user is going to the event, but as "Unpaid" for instance, or "Rejected" or something like that.

Hey all, I've got leads who are given products in the CRM website, and I can add them to leads easily enough. What I need to happen, however, is that different products have statuses unique to that lead. For instance, user1 and user2 have product1 added to their lead accounts. At this point, maybe user1 is up to "paid" for product1, but user2 shows "rejected". Is it possible to have individualised fields on products? From what I'm doing now, changing any field in the product changes it for everyone,

Web to lead Form
I would like to know if it's possible to transfer a file link to an attachment file from Amazon s3 to Zoho CRM. When I open the link in my browser, I see the file download start. But when I send it to Zoho, nothing shows up in the attachment section. However, I am able to upload files directly from my web form and that works fine. I would also like to know if I can specify the file upload source e.g "From Desktop", "Google Docs", "Attachment URL" etc when I am generating a web to lead form. I think

Hello, With a web form i pass a Closing date to Leads, this works, but then when trying to pass to Deals, it doesnt work. In modules (Leads, Contacts and Deals) the field is of the same format. Thank you!

Sales Inbox Font
I am finding that the very first line of my emails, usually a salutation, that go out from Sales Inbox will be Times New Roman and the rest of the email will be in my standard font (set to Verdana). It does not look this when when composing, but I can see thru my email server Sent folder as well as seeing some test emails come in, this is happening from the recipient's perspective.
