Small bugs in new layout editor
Hi guys, the new layout editor is really good! I just found a couple of things you might want to look at: 1. When adding a new module, the plural form of the name is sometimes being used for the name field. For example if the new custom module is called 'Employee' then the name field is called 'Employees Name' instead of 'Employee Name'. 2. When changes are saved to the layout, the system changes to the modules tab. It would be better if it just stayed on the same layout tab. Thanks! Andrew
Stingy amount of storage
I find it absurd that in this day and age, with the cost of storage approaching zero, we are given 1 GB/user storage and 1 GB total company storage. I have more storage in my free personal Dropbox account than we do in our entire Professional Zoho account. Zoho, why so stingy with storage? Please upgrade the storage provided, at least with Professional Edition and above.
Using Skype
When I click on a phone number in my contacts, the number is sent to skypeout for dialing- which is awesome!!! However, in order for the country code to be prepended to the phone number, I have to manually change the phone number in my crm contact (ie. 206.444.5555 becomes 1.206.444.5555 If I don't save my phone numbers in this format, skype out from crm will not work. If I do save my phone numbers as such, the phone number is no-longer automatically formatted for display by crm, plus I have to worry
Contact Information display
I have been watching the introductory videos and they all show a panel with Contact Information (or Lead Information) being displayed when a specific Contact (or Lead) is selected from the list. On my site, this panel is not displayed nor can I find a way to display it. Is this a limitation of the free edition? If so, I do not see this limitation listed in the comparison chart (and, IMO, this would be a really stupid feature to make unavailable).
Need to convert accounts to a leads without loss of activities & notes
When we started Zoho CRM we converted some leads to accounts before we realized what we were doing. Is there anyway to change them back into leads again without loosing the contacts notes and activities?
I can only add 20 characters in E-mail field customer
When I want to add an E-mail adress to a customer in the Zoho CRM system, I can only use 20 characters. Many e-mail adresses are longer than 20 characters. How can this be changed? Kind Regards, Milande
Auto create date
Hi , I have a question: my events have a start date and end date. (normally 4-5 days apart) I would like to create an automated field in events for departure and reentry... This is normally: departure 2 days before the start date and 1 day after the end date... is their a way i can have this done automaticlly? Non-Profit can't figure out proper structure for leads...
Operation ReConnect provides free vacations for Veterans. Relate the Company field to an Activity created for a Lead
We are currently creating activities for Leads and we want to see what Company the activity is related to. We have noticed however that you cannot relate an activity to the Company field in a Lead - the Activity is only related to the Lead name. We would achieve our desired outcome if we converted our Leads to Accounts/Contacts however we do not want to do this because the Lead has not progressed and should remain a Lead. Is it possible to edit custom fields in the free version
I am currently testing Zoho CRM with the free version, only just starting. I have added custom fields in Contacts. It doesn't seem to be possible to edit the label or a multiselect list, or anything at all. Can't delete custom fields either, I can just remove them. Is it because it's the free version???? Or am I missing something?
Auto delete related entites
Is it possible to automatically delete records related to an entities when deleting an entity? For example, can you automatically delete Potentials related to a Contact when you delete the contact? Thanks.

Cannot Add User Role
I have been trying to add a new user to my account, but each time I try to enter the user role, it does not work. Although the cursor is in the text box, it will not type nor does the drop down menu next to the text box work. What is wrong? As a first time user I had hoped to have a better experience. Sylvia
Confirmation Email Best Practice
Hi, I need to create a workflow to send an Appointment Time Confirmation email to a lead. User is requesting to fire the email when an the Appointment Time field in the lead form has a value. System not stable
hi, I am a new user who just join & paid for Zoho CRM. I found a problem that sometimes when I click a menu button for activities and potentials, the crm system cannot generate the page. (a rotation icon was showed on page) I wait for half an hour and then go to visit the page again. The page becomes normal. But, the same issue happened again and again. Move contacts to leads with migrating option??
Can anyone suggest the best way to accomplish this massive project???? I took over the administration of Zoho later in the lifetime at this company. They have it configured incorrectly with every piece of data residing in Contacts/Accounts. Leads was never used. I need to take a large chunk of contacts with the associated notes, activities and campaigns and import them into leads. can't add component to dashboard
Hi I can't seem to add component to dashboard, not sure how. Its says 'You have not selected any grouping columns in your Source Report. There must be at least one Grouping column in the Source Report' I don't understand what it means by Grouping column or what I'm suppose to do?
Layout Field Alignment
Hi guys, please note this small issue that we found today. In the new layout design, text areas and multiselects end up making the vertical spacing uneven for other elements. In other words, not all elements are WYSIWYG. You can see an example below:
Add component in zoho crm Dashboard Issue
when we add a component in zoho crm --> dashboard we add the component name and select Source Report and click next button it display alert " Dashboard Item Name already exists" we add a new dashboard with different name and add component but it again alert the same message this error was coming from yesterday. New Forecasts Quarterly vs Monthly
I selected Quarterly so I could test out some of the new forecasting features. The only forecasts I have setup are simple test ones. Is there no way at all I can revert this choice so I can choose Monthly? I can't find any 'Delete Forecast' button. Let me know if I can change to Monthly. Thanks - Adam

Lead Import with additional data for existing leads
We are having difficulty importing multiple data sources with each having different data fields for leads where some of the lead records are already in ZOHO. For instance, we have 100 Leads already in ZOHO, and have 3 files to import. All files have FName, LName, Company and LinkedIn address (along with other data fields), but not all have email address. What I can see so far is that all clients are saved under the same list and my question is how to keep a subdivision among them. Importing Leads
As I go through system setup and start playing with this I noticed that the Lead import fields are only Lead Id, Company, First Name, Last Name, email, phone. There is no address fields or additional phone fields. I am playing with setup and perhaps its in there somewhere. I see where I can add custom leads fields but I do not see anything for lead import. I changed my primary email address, and am waiting to receive an email from Zoho to confirm my new primary email address. Save button
I do not get a full window viewing after I edit an Activity. I want to hit save but only see the top of the green button. There is no other window tabs above to close out to make the screen full to see the save button. I only know it says save because of how I can read the top letters. I do not know what the other options are?

How to Import Contacts, Activities etc. from 'Account' to a 'Potential' in the same Account?
There must be a way to import or move all contacts, tasks, Activities, Documents etc. from an Account or a different Potential to the Potential we want. A project is fluid, changes and re-assessment processes need to made easier. For example, We have only an 'Add New Contact' or 'Add New Task' option. What if I have tasks that were made already and due to either human error or changes in project direction I want to now add it to a new Potential or Account? This is not possible without cloning each
