Can someone kindly tell me what is wrong with zoho's smtp server?
For a long time I hesitated in using zoho because I could never send any email using email clients, I have tried it on Thunderbird, various android's mail client apps, as well as apps on iphone. All of then can receive emails and none of them can send emails with perfectly correct configuration. At this point I am going to conclude that the free personal account can only send emails from website only. I haven't had this much hassle setting up inbox. I am just giving up in trying to get it working,
zoho imap not pushing to thunderbird
New mail is not being pushed to thunderbird. The only way to detect new mail is to restart thunderbird. This happened several weeks ago and turned out to be zoho's server. It's happening again now.

Inbox defaulting to Archived Mail when zero emails
Hi, I contacted support a few days ago but heard nothing back. I have a problem whereby the Inbox on web mail defaults to archive mail when its empty and after I've visited another folder. EG. 1. I clear all email from my inbox so nothing is there. 2. I visit another folder. 3. I return to the inbox and its in Archived view. To see new email I have to click View All from the drop down menu. Any chance a fix can be found for this ? Rgds Jon
Saving Emails
Hi all, could someone advise please on how I can keep emails safely in my Zoho account in a specific folder? I have created a new folder called 'Saved' which I hoped I would be able to use to store my important emails in. However once I save them to the saved folder. I would like to then clear my Inbox for new mails knowing that my 'Saved' mails are still safe. BUT.. Once deleted from inbox the mail in the Saved folder are also deleted too :( Hope you can help please Thank you

Hi, I have a Zoho business account with a custom domain. When an Org user sends an email from Zoho webmail, it is displayed in the recipient inbox like this: user <user@example.com> but I want the recipient to see it like this: Org Name <user@example.com> I’d like to set this for all Org users at the admin level (I don’t want them to be able to change it). Is this possible? I’ve been all through the settings and can’t seem to find a way to enable this.

I'm getting the error "server timed out" when sending mail. I changed the server to smtp.zoho.com and I get an error about my password being incorrect. I am receiving emails fine so there is not a problem with my password. I have deleted and recreated the account. Can anyone please help?
