Access information from another computer in a different loc
Hi ALL Ok first of all this is a fab system. What i was looking for was somthing like this but being able to access my email and contact on a different computer in a different location that does not have this software on the computer. really i dont think this does it. As what is needed is all my data being on a server on the web and me being able to log into it all on the web without having the software on the computer. hope you all understood. cheers
Where does all the data get saved?
Hi I am wondering where does all the emails and data get saved off this software? Is it hosted somewhere or on the computer? As I was hoping to find somthing that when i get emails etc and do calender etc it get saved on a server. So if Comp gets nicked or breakdown I be on the save side by just installing software and getting everything back off the hosted server on the web. Cheers

Security
I'm contemplating installing Virtual Office, however I have a major concern about security. Are the documents, email, etc, protected from someone at my hosting company browsing through them on the server in their spare time? Same thing with hacks, if someone should get past the server security measures and download my company data, will it be a data party for them or is everything protected or encrypted to block prying eyes? I'm assuming this would somehow be tied to a serial number or something
cannot remove reminders
hi all, on my desktop i have the box "reminders" with some reminders listed in. if i click on some of them, i can open them, delete or give them some minutes, as usual, but i have two reminders that i cannot click, i cannot open and finally i cannot remove them. any ideas? thanks marco cavallini

Hi there, Just an idea. Maybe we could have a "Quick Links" entry on the personl home page that can take you straight to a specific group/view ... I tend to use 2 or three views most of the time and it would be good if I could just flip straight to them rather than going to groups-->group name-->calendar-->user calendar (for example). Can you get notifed via email when someone posts in a group?
I am looking for a piece of software for a non-profit group of home schoolers that we can use to run a discussion board and event scheduling. This software looks promising, but is there a way to set it up so that if some one posts a message in a group, others can get an automatic email of the post with the option to go and read it again later? If not, do you have any other software that would provide this feature? Thanks!

SSH bits
hi there :-) up to now ive been testing the SSH feature by connecting to some of our normal linux boxes and this has been looking good. But today i thought id test it on one of our HP servers running Universe. Everything looked good until i dropped into Universe and then the screen locks with the first menu and everything is squashed onto one line. Im thinking the terminal emulation might not be quite right :-( Is there anything I can do to change this within VO???? Thanks in anticipation ojo

Favourite Links imported from IE doesn�t work properly
Hi There, I export my favourite list of links from IE correctly and the the correct html file gets generated. When they are imported in VO, they get imported ok all of them in a common list (all together in this list), the folders are imported too, but they contain nothing or -sometimes- a few of them, but certainly not the original structure in IE.

Whick vCard format doe sthe software support? 2.1 or 3.0
Since there are two different formats which one wokr better. I have imported vcard format 3.0 contacts and some of the information is not showing up at all.
Uploading Files Increases...
It seems that ZO has a limit on uploading files at 5.5mb I believe. Is there a way to increase this?
I cant connect all my computers to one organization
I have 10 computers that Im attempting to have connected to the same VO Organization. I have downloaded the software on all the computers selected user names and an admin. but they will not link up they all want to work independent what am I doing wrong?
SPAM folder keeps growing
My spam folder keeps growing. The same files keep re-appearing even after emptying my SPAM folder. Is there a fix for this? I am using IMAP and have not changed it from POP3.

Error in loading and saving documents
We had to do a restore of a back up due to a server error. Now when we try to open a Static view of a save document we get an Error unable to process request. Also, if we try to upload new files we get an error Document could not be saved. Is there a way to correct these errors?

vo on debian
I m trying to start vo on debian linux 3.0 : - first it couldn't install in graphic mode, I got some java exception, in console mode it can be installed. - then as I have installed it, it doesn't run with the default jre installed with vo : it gives me some java errors and I had to make a link to another java distribution in order to have the server launched. Now if I go in my browser on another computer and try to open the url http:/hostnameofserver:8082 (I have chosen 8082 as the port for vo) ,
bad french translation
Hi, I am reviewing VO and as I am french I have chosen the french language... I am sorry but it is hardly useable as-is because it seems like an automatic translation and it is horrible, some of the expressions are just un-understandable and we have to go back to the english user interface to be able to understand the application. Is there a file somewhere that we can just edit in a text editor in order to correct this ? Regards Fabrice

Hello, We have been looking into Virtual Office script for some time now. It seems to be a perfect tool, if one essential feature was not missing: You can not post follow ups for a task. At least we could not find this functionality on your demo site. EXAMPLE: I want to create a task for my programmer group: Create a class for error handling. In a description I can write documentation how to do it. But one programmer might have a question about how the errors should be logged. With current implementation,

Hello, Working with VO I wonder if there is a way to make a link to a document. Making a new link always puts the http:// prefix before the string. May I suggest this as a feature? Another item is the date. I like to write dates in the format dd-mm-yyyy. Is it possible to implement that? I'm also very interested in the follow-up-for-tasks. Only one thing missing.... well maybe a few...
Okay, love the product, but there's one feature missing that would make it superb and force me to buy it .... We need an inline web viewer/editor for .doc or at least .RTF files!!!! Judging by your online demo, it's coming.... any word on when it will be incorporated into VO ???? Next after that you need an .XLS viewer/editor and one for .PPTs Now that's what I call functionality...!!!!!

Hi, This is an increasingly annoying problem with zoho after I patched to 3110. Error! Sorry we are unable to process your request. Please try again later. What can we do? zoho is running on a 4G ram, linux centos4, dual processors P3 the server has 210G of storage, so nothing is missing in terms of power. Thanks
CPU and Memory usage
Hi, I'am using VO for testing purpose and it seems that after 2 or 3 hours of utilisation, the ressources used by IE or Firefox displaying zoho grows significently. In fact after 2 or 3 hours runnig zoho in IE the IE process used about 250 MB of ram and 50% of CPU, with Firefox i can see the same problem. This problem occured on every testing client ( 4 station) Is some one have th e same problem. I am using the latest release of VO. Tanks for your help JBB
problem with associated task in event
Hello, I used VO 3110 on Windows XP I found a problem in the event with associated task function. I do the following steps: create a event in the calendar check the associated task box save al things ok recall the event (checkbox of associated task is empty) modify something (not the date) save the due date of the task is set to 1/1/1970 and if you don't mind a request to have a enctrypted password field in the contacts and link functions thanks for this product Jan Wdb

I am evaluating ZOHOVO for a hosted Email service. I like what I saw, but there are a few more things I need. I found the backup, but I need a way to script it, is the an API that I can use for this? I also will ne a way to bulk import users and have some sort of template applied for each one. I'm guessing this is a feature request, but I can't be the only one that wants these features.
Trash Folder
Hi there, Just upgraded 3.1 to SP1 (build 3110), and now when I delete an e-mail and expect it to go to the trash folder, nothing shows up in the trash folder! I think they are going there, because if I delete an unread mail, the trash folder then changes to say Trash (1), and counts it as though it is there! I hope that this is a bug which will be sorted in the next SP! Thanks.
