Comments lost in recurring tasks
Is there any way to keep comments in one continuous thread for recurring tasks? It would seem that as the task is closed and then rolled to the next date (weekly or monthly interval) that all comments are lost once the task is completed. Can anyone suggest on how to keep these comments intact?

Projects - Change Administrator
I don't see a way to change the administrator. In a very fluid and growing organization, I hope we are not stuck with the admin we started with? Is there some sort of work around for this?
Converting client users to company users
Hi I wonder if you can help? I would like to give greater access to the projects I am working on for a client. Can I change a customer user to a client user - that is to give them the additional functionality of a "manager" in company? Is there a downside to offering this level of visibility? (All tasks are set to external visibility as all work is visible to this client.) I only want them to access the projects module, not CRM, Books, etc. I think that this would be the case is they are company

How to move dates and how to export tasks keeping several task levels/hierarchy.
Hi, I would like to ask: 1. If a project is delayed, ie 12 days, is there any automatic function that moves forward every task, subtask and milestone 12 days? 2. I have problems exporting both the Task Lists and the Milestone Gantt charts. They can be exported but the file doesn't represent the task levels accurately. The Task List exported in .xls or .csv doesn't keep task hierarchy. And the Gantt chart exported in .pdf lose one or two subtasks levels, showing several levels like if they were at
Remove Completed projects from main project list
How can I edit my main project list to not show Completed projects? Completed projects are no longer 'Active' so I don't understand why they still show. There is an option to view only Completed projects, so I don't understand why there isn't an option to view all 'open' projects or a way to do a custom view to only show certain projects statuses.
Google Shared Drive Attachment
We have upgraded to Google Business. The main reason is to use the Google Shared Drive feature. I am trying to associate a file in one of the Shared drives to a project and I only see files in the "My Drive" and "Shared with me " areas of Google Drive. Has anyone figured out a way to get files in the Google Shared Drive to be available to be accessed from Zoho Projects and CRM? I do have the Google Drive plugin from marketplace installed. Has anyone been able to do this? Thanks!

Sigma Extensions Permissions for Client Users
Hello, I've been developping a extension for Zoho Projects. The goal is to embed a 3D file viewer for client for who we do construction project. In order to do that, I've been playing with the Sigma to create very basic extensions without third parties acces and test them. But it looks like whatever the widget location parameter have been set, the extension is not available on the Portal for the client. It works for Users. Is it a permission limitation? What's the way to change that ? Thank you
Clear all storage space
Im trying to clear ll the storage space from my Projects free plan. I have emptied the trash but Zoho still reports I have 164MB of space used !
Is there a way to assign a client to a project with out giving them access to the project and able to select a client company from our CRM Accounts.

Zoho Projects and multiple brands
Hello, I have two brands: A & B. For both of those brands, I need to have customer portals in Zoho Projects. So if my customer from A brand will log in, he/she will see the A-brand logo, colors, etc. Of course same would apply for B-brand. Is it doable in Projects? Regards, PJ
Viewing my team's open and overdue tasks across different projects
I manage a small team who all work across a number of different projects. I'd like to be able to see any overdue tasks and tasks that over coming up this week for all of the users in my team, not just my own open tasks. Currently I am having to go into each project (of which there are currently 17...) to see what is coming up and what is yet to be completed. Is this something that can be on my dashboard?
Recurring subtasks associated with Recurring Task
Hi, I am trying to set up daily opening procedures for my company. Each day, I would like my employees to perform a series of tasks and subtasks. For example, I would like them to perform the following: 1. in lighting, I would like them to switch on: a) cellar room lights b) tasting room lights c) hallway lights I have successfully created the tasks and subtasks. However, I can only make the task recurring. The subtasks do not remain associated with the task when the recurring task is created.

In free version, how can I reorder the tasks in the Chronology Gantt Chart view?
I'm using the free version of Zoho Projects, and I would love to re-arrange the order of tasks in the Gantt Chart. Currently, the default is by percent completion, but I'd prefer them ordered by TaskList, so that groups of tasks are more meaningfully clustered. I don't see an obvious way to do this. Is this possible in the free version, and if so, how? Thanks!
Auto Refresh - Project View
We have a team of 10 within a website development agency, that migrated from ASANA to ZOHO. One of the issues that we are experiencing is that the assigned tasks do not auto refresh for our developers specifically, so unless they refresh their display frequently they might miss a task that might be of high priority. I have spoken to ZOHO and they have stated that the tasks should refresh automatically...any feedback?

Sort order of Tasks
We would like our tasks to appear in order of when they need to be completed. I suppose this is roughly by due date, except that we are not using dates, our template is purely dependencies, since all tasks are fairly short. Our ideal target state is that any tasks now due (predecessor tasks all complete) show up at the top in kanban view, which is mainly where we work from. When we move it over to "closed," then any successor tasks now move up to the top. Alternatively, can we display only tasks

How do I make department groups rather than project groups?
Is there a way to create department groups in Projects? Example: We have 3 designers on staff. For design tasks, I have to assign design tasks to all 3 individually. It would be nice if I could group these 3 users together and call the group design. I think it is possible in the CRM, but the designers do not have access to the CRM.

'Created by' field
Hi. We need to make some analytics with data how many projects did each user create but I can't find a field with this information in Analytics, Projects nor CRM. There is a column named "Created Time" but there is not a "Created By" column. I am aware that there is a "Owner" field but in most cases we update it on later stages of project implementation so we won't find there information who has created that specific project. Better email features to send clients information: Automatically triggered (on task, milestone or other blueprint), rich text templates, with dynamically inserted information #clientfirstname etc.
I want to be able to send emails to our client users that have more information than a standard task or milestone completed. I.e. When a task (or milestone) is completed we should be able to trigger rich text emails that we can template ourselves. Templates with links to forms, reports, bookings, requests for information etc. Just as in CRM where you can trigger templated emails with blueprints when certain triggers (like completing a task) take place, we should be able to trigger templated emails

Ability to Move Task across Projects
Right now, you can easily Move a Task to another Task List within the SAME Project. However, I could very much use the ability to also Move a Task to another Task List for a DIFFERENT Project that I also have permission for. Right now, I find myself wasting a lot of time with copying/pasting in Notepad/Textpad as a workaround for this.
Unable to set rate in User Portal
When I try to change the Portal Rate for a user in the User Portal of Zoho Projects nothing happens. I click on "Update" and the progress wheel spins for around 5 minutes or so and then the user window closes and the rate has not been updated. I've had a support ticket opened for over a month on this issue and was wondering if other users were experiencing the same problem.

Zoho Projects not accepting emails when using email while on BCC
I was wondering, is there reason why Project Email aliases do not work if they are copied into the BCC of those emails. One thing we do is send a status update to our (external) customers who most of the time do not have access to Zoho Project. I want to have these emails added to the forums of ZOHO Project, but I do not want to add the Project Forum email alias to the To or CC fields, as the customer will get a bounce email when he sends a reply-all. We have created Client Users so that our clients can see the progress of their project live, but we are concerned that clients can view the Work Hours of tasks. For us the work hours is commercially sensitive information which is used to develop the cost of the project to identify the 'selling' price to the client. Mouse Scrolling
With the new UI, the mouse scrolling works intermittently. I saw atleast one other posted on Zoho CRM express the same problem. I am able to replicate the problem on Windows, MacOS, Safari and Chrome. Has anybody else faced the same problem? It seems to be that the UI was rolled out without a thorough end user testing.

Hi, I am using projects on Chrome browser on Mac but I am not able to edit the task owner. I tired with the Android app and I can assign or delete task owners but on my laptop it doesn't work.
Zoho Projects - Slow response
Is anyone else facing slow response of zoho projects. Specially when Adding/editing tasks/forum wiki etc? Everything else seems to be working fine but the posting is working very slow for us.
