Extra space in an email forwarded in a task comment
Hi, I forwarded an email in a comment of a task in Project and empty lines were added in the comment, which makes the comment easily readable. Is there a way to configure the display of comments created from an email? Or is it necessary to transfer the email in plain text rather than in html so that the rendering is better in the comments? New Gantt chart zoom and fit to size are terrible
It looks like Zoho has been rolling out some UI updates to the Gantt Chart report, which is good to see since we use this report a lot in our consulting work. The new solid bars for task duration are a nice visual improvement. However, the new Zoom and Fit to Size tool is a big step backwards.... Unfortunately, this new interface requires many more clicks for us to zoom out to see the full project lifespan, whereas with the old "click to fit" scale we could just click on the bottom of the scale
How to manage Project Group?
Greetings. How can I manage my project groups? Currently, I only can create a new group when I am creating a new project, outside this situation I am unable to create, edit or delete a new group for my projects, then I have to create a fake project to be deleted, create the new group, attribute this new group to existing projects and then delete the recent created project. Can anyone help, please? Thanks in advance.
Assign Client Without Giving Project Access
Is there a way to assign a client to a project with out giving them access to the project or creating an account. We are running around 35 projects in TeamworkPM. Currently we have the ability to attach individual projects to a client company for organizational purposes. We don't need them to have access to their project, we just want to sort by client. As far as I can see, with out that, all projects would be for our company and listed in one big pile. Not very user friendly. Thanks!
Changing a task into a subtask
Is there any way to take an existing task and make it into a subtask? I am trying to organize a project better, and for some tasks I have just been retyping them in as subtasks and deleting the original task. For some however, there are existing comments on the task that I would like to keep intact. Is there any way to do this?

When I associate a project with a client in CRM all of the contacts are made client users in the project. I don't want this to happen. What do I need to do to remove the contacts from the project users? We don't want clients to have access to any part of our projects at this time. Thanks

Enhancements to the Timer
When using the timer I see a couple of improvements that could be helpful for all users: The ability to pause / resume so you don't have lots of entries when taking breaks or alternating between tasks/projects; for example. When fully stopped, the app shows the time log entry window to give the user the ability to enter comments and store them along with the time log entry. That way the user doesn't have to edit the log to add actual comments about the work done.

Hello I subscribed a business plan for Zoho Projects 2 months ago paying in advance for the next 12 months. Hello I have heard that you cannot restrict the access rights for different types of users. For example if you want to restrict lower level employees seeing different content of a project. Or if client has access, they see EVERYTHING. We are thinking of changing to Zoho CRM and Zoho Projects, however we need to control some level of information. Could someone please confirm if this is possible? Also, can restrictions be placed on who see invoicing and payments? Hope to gain some feedback to help

Hyperlink of the Predecessor and succesor Tasks
Hello, I have a suggestion which i think is very easy for your team to make it happen. When you look to a blocked task by a predecessor task or you look to the predecessor task what is next you have to copy-paste the title of the task to zoho projects search all modules tool to find them. You can make it a hyperlink to the task so we can find it with just a click. See image bellow I think that is something minor that makes the difference for advanced users thanks
4.0 - Default Feed to 'Activity Stream' instead of 'Feed'
Hi: Right now you can click Home (actually your logo as Home is not clickable) which defaults to Feed on the left menu. Then if you want 'Activity Stream' (which IMHO is better than the Feed as it shows all actions but nevertheless) you click the 'gear icon' to switch it. My question is if 'Activity Stream' can be set as default when clicking your logo and going to Home. I have searched this forum and help and cannot find a solution. Any help is appreciated.
Saving filters of projects
Hi! We are managing over 600 projects at the same time (+ we have 500 archived projects) and we have grouped them in almost 15 groups (1-4 groups per department). We have noticed big performance issues after exceeding 150 projects! Apart from that users complain that they have to filter projects every time they open a list of projects (in most cases each department would like to see only their projects -> maybe 100 projects instead of 600). Work Hours auto-population and validation
I am setting up the work hours functionality and i have one question and one suggestion. I can not set as mandatory the field and i can not do it not even in the blueprint. Is there any way to validate this field or is something out of standard fields? i checked a workaround via a custom field formula saying if work hours < 0.01 return 'work field is empty'. I would then take the value and use it for validation in my blueprint but this solution hit a wall on the auto-population from Duration hours

Files Organization and Management
I'm finding that managing files is difficult in Zoho Projects. There isn't 1 central "bucket" where all files live and can be referenced if they are uploaded inside a task or forum conversation. Please consider adding the relative task date (or Reminder date, Start date etc, I mean all of the date types) type to date definitions. We are just starting to use Zoho Projects for Google Apps, and would love to see a nice Google Drive Integration. What we need isnt the same as a dropbox integration, that is - What we put in Google Drive should stay in Google Drive, not beeing converted to and from doc/xls-format. How to export all the hierarchical project elements (project, milestones, tasklists, tasks)?
I am trying to export an overview in excel, with all hierarchical elements of a project. I managed to export a list of milestones, and also a list of tasks. But the tasks were just in a continuous list, without the assignment to a task list or milestone. Is there a way to export all the hierarchy? When googling, I saw that I should export from the project view, but that view does not give me the option export, just import... If this does not work, Zoho may not be the right choice for me. Gantt PDF Export Issue
It appears the formatting on the Gantt reports is not correct when exporting to PDF. In the image below, some of the columns become skewed using Chrome (version 80.0.3987.122) and Edge (version 80.0.361.62). Is there a workaround available or is this a known issue?
Make Hyperlink as a type of field that can be added to Customer Layouts
I'd like to be able to add custom field type to both Tasks and Projects that would allow a browser to recognize the value as a hyperlink. The purpose is to allow the reference to external documents, web sites, etc. that will enhance the description of the task or project. For instance the task hyperlink field could reference a BRD document section or a bluepoint drawing. Yes I can currently add a plain text field, but then the viewer has to manually traverse the link.
