I am struggling to find a system that can do what I am looking for, let me try and explain what I would like. I am starting to do some consulting work with clients. I follow the exact same step by step process for each and every client. Ideally, I would like to create a master step by step checklist that I use for each client, each time there is a new client I would create a new project or file or whatever, but the templated step by step checklist woudl be the default. Admin and project memeberships (or how to get rid of notifications)
Hi, I would need some help with how to get less email notifications. I'm a project manager and therefor I've been (together with all other project managers at my company) set to admin for the zoho project. This seems to mean that I'm a member of all projects I happen to look into. Why is this? I don't see the point in being member in all projects. I don't find a way to 'unmember' myself. As I now in this way am a member of many zoho projects I'm not actually a part of (IRL) I get very many forum

Hi, when people rotate and a old users leave, even after removing them from the portal I still see the users in their projects eligible to be assigned tasks. how can I remove them from there? it is a bit confusing. thx!
User Role Privileges
The lowest role we can set for a user is a contractor in Zoho projects. But that user can see his tasks as well as tasks of rest of the project team members. We don't want him to see tasks of other team members except his own. So, my question is how to limit a user to see his own tasks - not others? One of our projects contains sensitive/private information which we don't want our new employee/contractor to see such project information. But unfortunately, the system isn't working as per expectation
Project Active/Archived - used to set project completed?
While archiving some of our projects I noticed that when I set a project to Archived, it actually set's the project status to 'Completed'. I have noticed before that even though all tasks/tasklists/milestones are completed, the project is not set to completed (even though it is 100% done). If archiving is meant as a project completion flag that would be really confusing, as I might not want to archive a project that was just completed right away. But it would be good to have somewhere an actual completion

Tasks: filter by "open"
I had my tasks on filter by open but when there's no open tasks in a task list, that task list is gone. Is there any way to change that so I can see all task lists even when there are none open? Also, I removed the open status so I could see everything but now I don't want to see the tasks that are closed. How do I set this back to see open tasks only?
Export Projects Overview
Hi, I am looking to export the Project Tab into a csv. We have over 100 project running and even though the overview works great to get an overview, I would like to analyse it in Excel. If the same columns can be exported that are visible in the overview that would make sense (e.g. owner, milestones, start/end date). Most other 'lists' are able to be exported, if this could be done as well, that would be helpful. Thanks, Menno
Zoho Projects and Website Integration
I have a question about Zoho Projects and the widget inclusion on our new website (our ultimate goal is to use it for InterDepartmental Organization). Does anyone happen to know if I create some projects and a team right now in Zoho Projects (externally, not connected to new website) if those projects and connections will have to be re-developed and created once we input that widget extension onto our new website? Or will the existing created information transfer smoothly?
Aggregate milestones from multiple projects into one timeline
We use high level milestones for each project. They come from a template, giving each project a uniform list of milestone definitions and task lists. Because we have many projects executing at the same time but in different phases management would like to see a consolidated timeline across all executing projects. Is there any way to accomplish this? In Microsoft Project I would do this by having a master project that would pull information from other project files.

how to add employee charge out rate and track task profitability
Hi I am trailing the software for my business. I want to have a number of tasks, and then users book time to the tasks. I have a target rate for each employee and a fixed budget for the task. Cannot change Project Owner field
I am a new user of Zoho projects, own the portal and have admin profile. I am setting up New Projects on behalf of others (who I have registered as Managers in Portal Users). When I set up a New Project I can choose any of the managers in the drop down list as Owner. Having done this and completed other fields and updated the project, when I return to edit the project and want to change the Owner the Owner Field will not give me the list of Managers. Cannot Create Dependencies Between Tasks
In the Task detail view, no Predecessor field is displayed. In the Gantt view the selection of one task and dragging the link line to the appropriate task (as per the on-line help) is not available. Is it me or the software? Kind regards, Marc
publish list/calendar of due tasks?
My business performs quality assurance checks on our clients at certain scheduled intervals. My thought was to use template task lists to quickly add these schedules with due dates when we bring a new client on board. However is there a way to publish the list of due tasks or a calendar of these tasks for quick access to upcoming tasks due? How would I do this? Is this a use for Pages?
Can't add users for project and failed to register also
I want to add some members in my project, but some were added successfully and others failed. Then I try to let them register new account but the company name used when I created my own account, they can't use it again, is this a bug? The purpose is we need to add members in same company to a project. Anything I could do for this?
Task name not transferring to Slack
Hi there All my tasks are named in Zoho Projects. But when I complete a task, the name that gets pushed to SLACK is always "task". that's it. In Slack when the change it pushed, it says: Richard changed % completion of Task to 50 in Project. I WANT: Richard changed % completion of Finish Outline to 50 in Project. or Richard changed % completion of Email Client to 50, etc..... Why is it always just saying "task" in Slack?

Managing task owners
New to Zoho - Trying to determine if we can have a database of "task owners" without using their emails. We are custom builder and are not trying to communicate directly with our subs via zoho project / email but need to schedule them. Also - how do you edit a name - looks like it only pulls the first part of the email. Also is there a way to categorize skill level for users? RFC email notifications
Is it possible NOT to send an email notification to the person that placed the comment? When I place a comment in a RFC, which is assigned to me, I also get an email of the comment I just placed. But I do want to receive an email when someone else places a comment in a RFC I'm assigned to.
Do you have to track time against a specific bug in Project?
Currently, Weekly Time Log requires that a task or bug be selected. Is it possible to not have this be a required field in this view? Thanks.
Automate timekeeping
We use Timesheet in Zoho Projects to track time spent on billable and nonbillable projects. I am looking for ways to make time entry easier/automated for our busty team. For example: Is there a way to sync google calendar in a way that will add the meeting time to Timesheet? Is there a way to trigger a time log entry when a task is closed? Are there ways to connect CRM Activities (Tasks, Calls, Events) to automatically log time in Timesheet? Thanks for any guidance on this.
additional Import fields
Is there a plan to add additional fields for import? Right now not including work is a problem for me. Also I cannot import a start date from either csv or xls. With Tasks lists, I have a standard task list that is repeatable with Resources, Duration and Work Effort. I can create a task list template but all that carries over is the task name, none of the details. Task completion
The % complete status for tasks is fine for traditional PM understanding, but for my projects the % complete is determined from the reviewed finish date that is updated as project is executed versus the initial estimated finished date planed. For the projects I normally work on this makes more sense than asking a supervisor to estimate a % of completion for which he or she has no idea on how to estimate.If I ask a supervisor when will a particular task be completed, it is easier to get a solid answer
Start After and Duration do not seem to be functioning correctly
Hello, I am in charge of re-designing our projects template here for the company I'm working for. I've set dependencies and all tasks have a start after and duration, but when I test the template, something's not right. In my first milestone with a tasklist assigned to it I have 4 tasks with a 1 day start after, and 1 day duration. I entered the project yesterday. My first task is showing start 6/1, due 6/1, but the remaining tasks are showing a start of 6/5 and due 6/5. I see similar instances
Nothing Gets Done
I was going to submit some ideas, but after reviewing the posts (and only 2 ideas implemented) and my many calls with support, I realize that nothing will happen anyway. What's the point?
Task Dependencies and 'overlapping' times
When setting task dependencies, I can understand overlapping time is not valid... But at the moment, a task that ends at 14:00, can't be followed by one that starts at 14:00... This is rather frustrating. The only way to make this work currently is setting the finished task to end at 13:59, or the start one at 14:01... This is so much more time intensive than setting both at 14:00... I would imagine changing this would be simply setting a < to <= in the software. Could this be a fix that is done
Overall project percentage complete
I have found the individual task % complete very helpful, but is there a way to get an overall % complete for the full project? Or even for the milestones? Thanks.
