Viewing hours remaining on timesheet
Hello, We have been using Zoho Projects for about 9 months now. Overall we like it but one thing that is getting very frustrated for us is around the timesheets. The scenario is a person is logging hours against a task that has a set task budget. In the timesheet you can log hours, but you do not see what are the actual hours remaining in the task hour budget on the screen. This often causes people to log against a task that has no more hours, or the project team not having a good discussion around

Move multiple tasks
Hi! If I have a set of tasks, A, B and C, with dependencies so that they follow each others (B after A, C after B) with no slack in between, and all are, for example, five days long each, I can easily extend task A to e.g. ten days which causes task B and C to each move five days into the future. However, If I were to shorten task A to only two days, task B and C would not move. The only way I have found to do this is by individually move first B and then task C (moving only task C is not allowed
Late tasks and milestones on the dashboard?
Is possible to see the late tasks and late milestones on the dashboard, specifically at the Task Status and Milestones Status graphics? On my dashbaord I can only see the tasks open and completed. I would like to see the late tasks on the same pie chart. Is it possible?

1. Ability to set non-working days, example: weekends and national holidays. 2. Assign tasks to a user who doesn't have Zoho, just for tracking purposes. 3. Include field mapping for predecessors with task import function. 4. Option to display task name instead of Assigned to in Gantt chart. 5. More options to customize views, particularly Kanban.
Tasks not grouping with task list upon import
I am trying to import using xls or csv. When I do, each task is created in its own task list. There is no grouping of tasks when imported. I have attached a screenshots of the sample data and the import results.
Remove Requirement to Add Client Users Via email
Hello, We don't want to send an email to client users and have them involved in our Project Portal. Is there anyway to assign tasks without adding the person as a user? We'd rather have a free text field to put their name.

I have just received word that Books will soon become available on Zapier - which is fantastic news! Can you put Projects as the next item on your list? So much of what we do is based on tasks, timetracking, and using external tools to execute our work. Being able to integrate 3rd party tools with multi-step Zaps would make Zoho Projects and absolute no-brainer for everyone! Thanks

Backup restore
Hi Zoho Projects, Currently we're making a backup of all the projects every 1 or 2 days using your backup service. We download the xml file, store it at our cloud server and begin to wonder: If someday we'll need to use it to restore the projects, how can/should we do it? Because on the "impoprt" page, there's no option to let us use the backup xml file, and till today, I still haven't found a "restore" option. Changing a project follower into a project user
I have a project which a portal user was following. Now the situation has changed where this user needs to be a actual project team member. However, if I try to add this user it gives me an error saying - (User already added as Follower to this project). Is the only way to fix this for the user to unfollow and then get added as a project user? Or is there a simpler way (without the project manager having to ask the user to unfollow first) for this to be done? Thanks, Menno
Fixed Bid Invoicing

As a test case I've added a client user to one of our testing projects to see what the access level is and what it would look like for them. They get access to the forums - which is nice. I have seen several references to having multiple project portals. Desk offers a feature called "multi-branding" which allows support for multiple brands to be handled by a single overall account. How can I create additional portals for Zoho projects? This came up when my client wanted to do a test import from Basecamp into a "dummy" Zoho projects portal.

Hi, Zoho is by far the best webbased project management tool i've used! I do have a question: Is it possible to configure the tasks not to count weekends? Filter Task vs Subtasks in Reports
Hi: While using reports, I cant find a way to separate tasks vs. subtasks. Example: I am getting 18 tasks in the report, but only 3 are real tasks, 15 are the steps needed to achieve those 3 tasks. I have to report my boss/client only the tasks. He doesn't need to know about the steps needed internally to complete a task. Is there a way I can get a report only of the tasks? Thanks. Date issue of the new project created based on template
I've created a template with all the denpendency, start after days and durations set. After creating a new project based on this template, I founf that there're a lot of tasks didn't have the correct dates, they didn't correspond to the initial date of the project + start after days. Hi: It would be great if I can navigate to a client and find all the related projects and files related to him. You see, one client can generate several projects. Some may use the same documents as a reference. Right now we have to upload duplicate documents for each project, since navigating to find the original is not easy (some projects might be archived and hidden). Just an idea. Un abrazo, Robby!
