Initializing Metrics
You will be able to view the dashboard once you agree to the consent and click the Enable Metrics button in the Metrics tab.

Your usage metrics will be visualized in the dashboard from the day you enable Metrics.

Date Filter Behaviour

The date filter drop-down helps filter the Metrics data in a more precise manner based on the selected date range.

Disabling Metrics

  • In case you need to disable Metrics, you'll need to get in touch with support@zohocreator.com.

  • To enable metrics again, please refer to the Initializing Metrics section.

  • Please note that, the usage metrics in-between the timeframe of you disabling and re-enabling the Metrics will not be available in the dashboard.

Points to remember

  • This feature is only available for customers from the US, EU, AU and IN data centers.
  • At any point of time only the last 120 days data will be available.
  • Data from time series database will only be purged during their respective timelines and cannot be deleted by any other means. Even if the user requests to remove their data or they closes their account with Zoho and moves out, the data cannot be deleted.
  • The dashboard will follow the PST time zone for US accounts, CEST time zone for EU accounts, AEST time zone for AU accounts, and for IN accounts it will follow the IST time zone.
  • When you create and restore a backup for an application, the Metrics data will not be included in the backup.
  • When an account is migrated from one DC to other, the existing Metrics data of that account will not be migrated to the new DC. However, your Metrics dashboard will be populated with the statistics specific to the new DC.
  • As the super admin of the account, when you grant Admin access to a partner to deploy applications, it is your responsibility to inform their partners of the legal use of this feature, including enabling the same.
  • When an Application is deleted then it will be listed but not you cannot click on it to view more analytics. The App icon will be changed to indicate deletion. For the 7 days from deletion date, the app name will be displayed after which it will be changed as Deleted Application. If this app was present in the Idle applications list then after deletion it will not be retained.
  • Similarly, when a user/portal user is deleted, their details will be listed as usual but the user icon will be changed to indicate deletion. Only in the case of a portal user, the Email id of the deleted portal user will not be fully displayed. It will be displayed as a combination of the email id and some alphanumeric value. If this user was present in the Idle users list then after deletion they will not be retained.
  • When a portal of an application is deleted, the portal will not be listed in the Application activity by portal users filter. Also in Application activity by all users, the Application for which the portal is deleted will have discrepancies in access and hit counts while viewing the individual application analytics.
