1. Sign in to Zoho One, then click  in the top-right corner.
2. Go to Directory Stores, then click Add Directory.
3. Click Add next to greytHR.
4. On the API Integration page, enter the domain name, and the user name and password copied from your greytHR account. (To copy the user name and password, follow the steps from greytHR section below in the document)
   
   
   

The domain name should look like this: xyz.greythr.com. It'll throw an error if you add https:// or backslash. The API User Name and  Password needs to be entered accurately for the import to proceed without a hitch.

5. Click Next.
6. Map the fields available in Zoho One to the fields available in greytHR. Learn more about field mapping. 
   
7. Click Save and Next.
   
8. In the General Settings section, under Mail Notification, you can choose whether users and admins can receive email notifications related to this integration. These mails include workflow notifications, user invitation mails, app account access notifications, delete/deactivate notifications, and conditional assignment notifications. Learn more about General settings section.
   
9. If Notify via mail is selected, the Password Notification section appears, where you can choose how newly synced users will receive their one-time password.  
   
   Password Notification setting is only available to users' whose email address has a verified domain name. If you want to include users whose email address is from an unverified domain, then verify the domain and come back to continue. 
10. Under the Status Sync section, choose what should happen in Zoho One when users get activated, deactivated, and deleted in the required store.
    
11. Only for for Group Sync feature-supported directory stores, the Resource Sync section is shown. Here, choose what resources (users, groups) have to be synced from the directory store to Zoho One.
    
12. Click Save and Next.
    
13. Choose how you want to sync users from greytHR. You can either sync all the users or a few users based on criteria in Zoho One. You can use custom attributes to set criteria. You can also set multiple criteria based on your needs using the + icon. Learn more about Criteria section.
    
14. Click Save and Next. 
    
15. Enable  Schedule Sync to import users from greytHR automatically at a specified time interval. Choose whether the sync should run on a Daily, Weekly, or Monthly basis, and set the preferred time under the Time section. Learn more about Schedule sync.
    
16. Once done, click Save and close.
    
17. Import Users: greytHR now allows bulk imports of users into Zoho One. All users (except deleted users) will be fetched and shown depending on the chosen criteria. If you select more than 200 users, users will be staged, and it might take time to list the users. Once finished, you can either view it or clear it for re-import. You can either individually pick the users you need, or you can select all users. Info: For the import to proceed without a hitch, the API key needs to be entered accurately during authentication.
    
18. Once imported, the users' list will be visible in the Members menu.  
    
    The Import Users lets you manually sync users at any time, whereas the Schedule Sync automates the process by running user syncs at scheduled intervals.

In greytHR:  

1. Log in to your greytHR account.
2. Click the Settings icon in the top-right corner.
   
3. Click  Account settings from the drop-down.
   
   
   
   
4. Select API Users.
   
5. Click Create API User in the top-right corner to generate an API username and password.
   
   
   
   
6. Enter a User Name and Description, if needed. User API, Employee API, and Employee API read access need to be selected by default under Select Roles. You can select other roles if you want.
   
7. Once done, click Next. Copy the User Name and Password to paste them on the Zoho One page. (To paste, continue to Zoho One section above in the document.
   
   
   
   
8. Click Done once you have pasted.
